Wine storage area air conditioning failed regularly. Advertising climate controlled units is false advertising at this facility. Staff seemed unconcerned about the effect these failures had on customers wine.
Emily P | Overall ExperienceI have stored my wine at this facility for several years because of the temperature controlled environment the facility provided. The facility told me two days ago that I had to vacate the storage because of a “renovation” they were performing. I came the very next day to remove my wine (worth thousands of dollars). When I showed up - the wine section was hot! It was much warmer than the air conditioned section of the facility. I stored wine there because it was supposed to be cool!! When I spoke to the employee upon leaving to express my concern about the temperature, he informed me that it had been like that for two months!!!! He insisted that they called me more than the one time, but I checked my call logs going back to July and I was never called. This facility did not provide me the service they promised and put my wine at risk for two months. This is a blatant disregard for my as a customer and potentially will cost me money as the wine is at risk of being ruined.

The team that originally signed me up were awesome. However, when it came to finding locksmiths they were not useful in local recommendations, this is something I wish would change as there are many people unfamiliar with the market including myself. From renting a truck to move in, identifying best storage unit based on personal needs up to moving out and renting another truck, the team at this U-Haul location goes above and beyond to ensure costumers needs are met. Smooth experience overall. Things in storage where kept in optimal conditions. Highly recommend using this store for renting trucks, temporary and long-term storage needs, and any other service related to moving.

mark a | Overall ExperienceAt the beginning of our storage rental, there was a strong putrid smell in the facility. We later learned someone had stored a suitcase full of perishable food which had rotted and stuck up the whole place. Clearly against the rules.

Rachael j | First ImpressionsI have complained multiple times with the front office and 800 number that the wine storage cooling unit was not working. 78 degreees is too hot and spoils wine. It has not been working for the past month and I contracted to keep my wine stored at a n appropriate wine temp not room temp. I moved out my wine because of this. The local person Jamila was argumentative when I asked to be refunded the last month $100 since they did not provide the contracted service . I have pictures since June of the temperature. She also would not give me any manager or contact number other than 800 number. I’ve stored my wine for about 5 years and the wine unit has not worked several times. I Couldn’t depend that it was working and very bad customer service regarding this last time so I left. The staff doesn’t care to understand the issue with wine and solve problems. Jemika also told me they were going to close down the wine area since it didn’t make money. That was news to me and I still should be provided the service I was paying for. JASON F | Overall ExperienceSo I was visiting ATLANTA with family & the immediate need for a storage facility became urgent. So I looked up the closest uhaul and proceeded to go along with you doing my due diligence on pre-booking one and then the next day I went and paid for it. The checkout service experience was horrible, let me start off by saying that... I sat there for well over 3 hours trying to get my accommodations fulfilled regarding the storage unit they kept saying that I owed money and at the end of everything it came to pass that there wasn't true when I called the U-Haul corporate number. Nevertheless after getting checked in, I move my bulk of merchandise into the storage unit and left. When I got back home to Virginia I realized that I did not have a copy of the paperwork that they had given me and and I immediately start reaching out to all of the U-Haul properties that were listed in Atlanta and I got the same response from the majority of them that I did not have a storage unit with them they searched by my email by my name by my number and all of that led to no avail. So I waited and waited to see if the U-Haul facility would hit me up once the payment was due. They never did. So I'm just now getting a call that my stuff was auctioned off when they never tried to reach out to me. Crazy. I do not like this whatsoever and I will be contacting corporate in reference to this matter
