It was quite obvious that there were people living in their storage space. I am far from a “Karen” but I did feel a little uncomfortable at times when I would visit my storage space. The Packers Ave. U-Haul would leave the garage door open at all times, which I believe wasn’t a safe practice. Any person off the street could walk in there. Very insecure. They raised my rent before even a year went by because I would unlikely move all my stuff to another facility. Wasn’t happy at all with my experience there. My last day there, I noticed the women’s bathroom had a padlock on it. Wouldn’t be surprised if that was to prevent people living in their spaces. Homelessness is a horrible thing but I just felt the place was unsafe.

The check in was a little stressful as I was informed that just because I reserve a storage facility that does not mean that I am going to get one. I thought that was a little strange. The workers there - AMAZING! Everyone was super kind and helpful. I appreciate everyone for all their work there!

Someone moved some stuff into my unit the night before I was scheduled to move in, and they helped to clear it quickly. There are a lot of homeless people in this area desperate for a place to stay. Lock up your unit and use the codes properly. Your stuff will be safe.
