Well since nobody offered me any compensation for screwing up my moving schedule twice, some sort of compensation would be a start.AARON W.
It really has nothing to do with the pickup location, the problem is with Uhaul itself. I used and paid for a reserved trailer to be there waiting for me a few days ahead. I had to drive close to a thousand miles to get there. U-haul has in their fine print a statement that says basically that they do not guarantee any thing, until one of there representatives calls you back. They were suppose to call back on a thursday by 6 pm, my drive day. On friday morning at 7 am I get a text that says I would have to pick up at a different location, the other side of town, Auston,Tx. Come to find out the location that they allowed me to pick in Austin on my reservation did not even handle trailer rentals, which is what I needed. But, it did allow me to reserve one and take all my info and get me committed to them, ended up costing me 2 extra hours of time and paying movers to stand around and do very little. Also, I ended up driving by a U-haul facility very close to where I was moving from that had trailers, but they did not accomodate me with an easier change, they did not have to drive across Austin twice, I did. I forgot to mention I had bought moving supply materials on line from the 1st store and had to pick it up from there. This is the very last time I will ever use U-haul for anything. The time before that at their drop off location the laqdy on duty did not know how to use the computer program to check me in, she did however walk out to the trailer and look at it and talk to the manager on the phone about it. In all the confusion I failed to get a receipt (hard copy) and the woman did not email one either. So for the next 2 days I received phone calls from them wanting to know what I did with their trailer, they could not find it. Even though the same woman that checked me in was there helping the manager she could not remember. It escalated to the point I felt like I was being excused of stealing the trailer. I called U-haul headquarters and filed a complaint to stop the harassment, the lady that took the call, one of her first comments was why don't they check their video camera files to see. I was wondering the same, Then I remember they pobably did not know how to work them either.BRUCE H.

I've never experienced a more unprofessional â€œManagerâ€ (if you can even call him that) in my life thus far. I had a Ubox shipped across country, received confirmation it was at this location and even reserved a truck at this location to pick it up with. Upon my arrival for scheduled pick up, I was told the Ubox had been moved to a different location (I had no idea and was never notified) and the â€œmanagerâ€ said it was â€œyour (my) problemâ€ and did nothing else to remedy his locations error. I have time stamped screenshots to prove it was at this location and a reserved truck that obviously supports the phone conversation to schedule this pick up. My moving day has now turned in to multiple and uhaul or it's representatives have yet to take responsibility for their failings. I don't get to pass the buck at my job but from my experience this seems to be a company culture issue or this is a â€œbad appleâ€ and then I look forward to a remedy to this inconvenience and a report the the â€œmanagerâ€ was reprimanded and will be calling to apologize or will be terminated. I initially booked the truck rental via the truck share 24/7 option. It ended up not being as convenient as I would've hoped. Once I was approved, I was directed inside to pick up the keys at the store. The system was not linking fast enough with the app and they couldn't find my reservation. Fortunately the associate was kind enough to expedite it manually. 30-45 mins later I had my truck but had I known the app feature was going to delay me that much I would've skipped it. Aside from that everything else was great service!mario H.
Make plastic tubs available to rent in the lobby. It's ridiculous to be in the store and be told you can't rent them unless you go online to rent them. It's discriminatory.CHRISTOPHER M.
Poor customer service all the way around. Given the choice, I would choose to never interact with the staff at this site again. Based on the way they interacted with not only me, but other customers as well, it seems in their eyes, they have no obligation to provide any level of customer service. Concerning the equipment, the first van I was given showed 0% oil life so I asked for a different one. The second one had one tire that was severely under inflated, and not wanting to deal with the staff any longer, I just decided I would take it to a gas station to put air in the tire. Turns out, the tire had a slow leak so I had to go to the gas station twice a day to keep the PSI at the proper level. I needed to be focused on moving, not whether or not my U-HAUL was going to get a flat. Overall, two thumbs down.CHRISTOPHER G.
I had already signed in online and still had to wait in line for 45 mins. Also when returning the truck, I asked if there was any way I could be reimbursed for the half of tank of gas that I used and they truck checker said "No, but I can give you a fist bump." As if a fist bump is equivalent to the $60 I didn't need to spend. They literally promise terrible gas mileage with the 26' truck in promos, about 10mpg. And then he went on to tell me that I saved $4. Who cares?Sterling T.
First comment to me at this location was, Your not scheduled to return here you will pay an extra $125.00 to do so. The paperwork was wrong from y'all not me. After waiting 30 minutes they cleared it up. Every visit to 3 location was very long. I should not have to spend 30 to 1 hour to drop or pick. With no other customers it's to slow. The truck giving to us had alot of dents and key didn't start truck instead of switching to a different truck they just showed us to jiggle key then it will start. Also at the location seem like the ladies were not knowledgeable how to help and while helping us one of the ladies that was assisting starting helping someone else it took 15 minutes just to get keysLEWIS M.

Awful and inexperienced customer service. They made me late and didn't treat me with any respect. I'm so disappointed and will never rent from that location again. From the booking agent ignoring my location request (sent me to a different location than what I asked for even after I double checked with her) to the terrible experience during pickup of my equipment (made me even more late altogether). This was my fourth or fifth trip to get a trail with strict time demands. I will never use uhaul again. This location was great but was sent on a wild goose chase. Poor service and lack of concern.
