The location was not the problem. The truck was. And the automated system of U-Haul. I and my family have rented U-Haul trucks for over sixty years and this was the first time I had trouble with the truck. They rear door had a problem and I could not close it. The attendant had fought with it at the start and got it closed so I thought there was no further problem. When I opened it at home it snapped up forcefully. But when I tried to close it it stuck just like at the location. It came down two panels with difficulty and stopped. Then I hung all one hundred and forty pounds of me on the strap and it still did not come down. I rented the truck for two days and was not able to do what I rented it for because I could not get the door to shut hence could not lock it over night either night. When I tried to use my phone to scan the QR code it took a picture, but did not connect to U-Haul. No adjustment was made to the money I had paid.

John MMy reservation was made and confirmed well in advance for pick up in East Wenatchee, but Uhaul called Thursday and said I had to go quite a distance to pick up the truck. That altered my schedule with professional movers, added another hour and half to my already long trip, causing an ordeal for the move. Im perplexed why a reservation doesn't actually mean there is a vehicle. The truck itself, however, was a nice truck and did the job.
