STEVEN KOur luggage and our Yeti 125 were damaged by the 30 year old trailer that was in very poor condition with no proper maintenance. We sat with 2 kids and a dog on I-40 for 4.5 hours due to prior existing damage. It was then pitch black out with a 5% down grade where this could have cause injury or worse to my family if the suspension broke and tire blew out there. We are blessed it happened before we hit the down grade. After sitting for 4.5 hours (we should have been home by 2 hours before it was even repaired), my legs were cramping horrible as we could not get out in the horrible fast heavy traffic. We went to the next town and stayed in the only room left with a single bed, which landed me a $326 bill for a room we shouldn’t have needed. Then we got home the next day and spent hours scrubbing trying to improve the damage to our cooler and luggage with no luck. We returned the trailer to a nicer store where they even commented on the numbers of wraps on the 30 year old trailer. The lack of care for our travels and safety is astonishing. You put us in harm’s way and cost us a lot in extra bills. You had to know the suspension was going out and did not clean the inside. It looks like the other side had the suspension replaced recently too: you should have done better to ensure our safety versus putting us in a dangerous position and potentially even worse position if we were on that 14 miles of 5% down grade!
