I was suppose to be credited for fuel and was not , picked the truck up on 1/4 and returned it on 1/4 and was charged for fuel and for the convenience of UHaul refueling . I was told you can return it back the way you recieved it . However Since it was not 1/8 of a tank I was charged extra. So a total of $34 extra because I COULDVE put more is what the rep said !Nyche T.
The attendants were not wearing masks indoors, despite the current state mandate. The interior of the building was unclean and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The vehicle was perfect and just what we needed. Next time, I will schedule a pick up at another rental location in my town.Heather H.
The self-check out feature where you pick up your truck via a mobile phone is a joke. It took us 45 minutes to get approved, and then I had to go inside anyway to get the key. This is a terrible customer experience that needs to be addressed.Dan B.

The guy named Roger (or who wears a "Roger" shirt) who works here is extremely rude and unfriendly, and was pointedly not wearing a mask. His manner toward me and my mother was hostile as soon as we walked in -- I don't know what it was about us that he instantly disliked, but he made it very clear by his rudeness that we weren't welcome. Worse, he didn't even put on a mask when he had to come around the counter to stand close to me while I was signing papers. I had requested a no-contact check-in, but the online process didn't work, so I had to go inside and talk to Roger twice; even if the staff were properly masked and friendly, I would have been uncomfortable with the situation, not being fully vaccinated yet. I was double-masked, both for my safety and others'. It would be nice if the businesses I patronize were equally respectful. (Most of them are.) The guy who seems to be the owner was friendly, and the van I rented was good, but it's not worth the convenience (I live in the neighborhood) to deal with someone as rude as Roger. I made a point of returning the van after hours, more than a day ahead of schedule (losing money), so I could use the key drop rather than have to deal with Roger again. And really, the rudeness is bad enough -- for that reason alone I wouldn't rent here again -- but endangering customers' (and his coworkers') health by refusing to wear a mask is inexcusable. It's equally inexcusable that his supervisor doesn't insist that he observe local law, well-known safety standards, and basic human decency by putting on a mask.SARAH B.

The truck that was rented was not in good running condition. There was something wrong with the engine and we worried about making it back and forth without it breaking down. When we accepted the truck and drove off we had to call immediately to let them know something was mechanically wrong. There were no other trucks to trade out with, so we crossed our fingers and luckily completed the task. Thankfully it was local. The staff was friendly, but did not adhere to Covid standards and were not wearing masks.ADAM P.

This place stunk like an old cigarette, and the owner was not even attempting to wear a mask. Also, they neglected to adequately explain that they were going to double charge me for the rental (an extra 20 dollars) for using it from about 1230 until 10PM because they close at 5. Im sure they get people with these things constantly, and honestly, i wont be back. also my truck had a chip in the wind screen, and they didnt have the blankets that i asked for and charged me in full for them.JAMES D.

They were not wearing masks when I picked up the truck nor when I returned it. The guy was rude when returning the truck and would not listen to me. He let me know he knew what he was doing. Typically money is not settled until the truck is returned but my deposit was deducted from my checking account before I returned the truck. He wanted me to pay the full amount of $127 but $75 had already been paid from my bank. I will NEVER go back to Wades located on Guess Road. One gentleman understood and allowed me to pay the remaining balance owed.LINDA J.
When I picked up the vehicle the counter person was not masked and did not social distance at all this is very concerning at this time. I have had the vaccine and was double masked, so I was not too intimated at the time. When I returned the vehicle the counter person was masked and did his best to keep us both safe and it is greatly appreciated. You may want to have a conversation with the first person. So in answer to your question about recommending this lactation to a friend I would do it with the caveat about the masking issue.Rodney H.
This was by FAR one of the worst experiences that I have had with Uhaul. Not only were the employees unmasked the entire time, I was forced to come into an extremely small office that was overcome with a debilitating cigarette smell. As an asthmatic and a person with health complications , this situation was extremely paralyzing and uncomfortable. I chose to take the high road because there were no other uhauls of that size avaliable in my area, but I am still a little unsettled about the possibility of contracting covid-19 because of their disregard for the health of other people. When I returned my uhaul the next day, another gentleman came to my car door unmasked with return instructions and did not even attempt to maintain social distance. I truly hope this is not a reflection of Uhaul's safety standards because I will definitely be looking for an alternative company in the future.JAMIE W.
