Explain that a person needs to complete the check in process BEFORE they get out of truck and turn keys in. Employee WAS really good about telling me 2 or 3 times about going to link he sent to my phone to complete or would be a charge. My issue came in here. I have learned through life take a picture of gas and odometer gauge. When I returned truck and parked, I took a picture of those 2 things. I turned keys in the night drop box. Got in my car and went to the link. Then found out I had to be sitting in the teuck while filling out the website to take pic at that exact time. I could not attach the pic I took (the one with the return gas and idometer reading). I caused a scratch in the uhaul. I took pics if it at the time. But no way to attach it to the link. So tell people to go to the link as soon as they park truck and stay in truck to complete it as you can not attach photos from your phone if the gas and odometer and of any incidents to the truck. Especially for people turning truck in after hours. Once they drop that key, they can not complete the turn in process. Will yall please not charge me the fee for not checking the truck in on the link because of this? Yall should make it whereas people can attach photos to the link like I was trying to do and thought I could. That would have made it possible for me to do the check in on link. Until yall able to make that happen please tell people if my situation and to go to kink BEFORE they drop that key, because you cant attach a pic to link. Merci.Lavinia R.

Did not receive my utility dolly and still got charged for it. Very disappointed that I got charged for 3 days when I only had it for two days but I didn't return it on time but paid for 4 days I had it two hours after the time I picked it up but still am being charged for a 3 day rental period. I reserved a trailer for pick up at 1200 E. Riverside Dr. in Evansville, IN. My email confirmation for reservation #26771144 said pick up at 1200 E Riverside. When I went to pick it up, the lady said the trailer I reserved was on St. Joe Ave (Evansville). She was no help at all. I showed her my email with the Riverside Dr confirmation & she kept saying mine was on St. Joe. I wasn't sure if there was more than one on St. Joe. When I asked if it was the one at 2920 N St. Joe she said "I don't know". Absolutely no help at all. I then had to rush to the one on St. Joe because it closed at 4:00 & it was 3:30. The gentleman at the St. Joe location was very friendly & helpful.Joshua W.
The store on Riverside and 41 told my daughter they had plenty of vehicles. I get there at 9am. I'm told there are none available, while I see at least 12 vehicles in the yard. They invoice me for $19.95 and send me to another location. I pick up and use vehicle for about 2hours, 34 miles. I noticed my card was charged $63! At neither location was a mileage charge ever discussed with me. The mileage charge should be clarified.john H.

Pickup location was a small, but very crowded, Speedy Oil Change mechanic shop that also handles a few U-Haul rentals. Shop was dirty and small, but the workers were very friendly and helpful, despite the high business traffic to which they were attending. The truck we rented was first rate, but the moving blankets we rented were shorted by one because some were just loose and not contained in plastic bags like the others.Rusty P.

We had a reservation but employees were not concerned about our need to get on the road. Would not rent from this location again. Had appliance dolly reserved with truck. No appliance dolly. Employees did not assist me when I walked in the Business. waited 15 mins without seeing a single employee. Walked through the "employees only" door to find 2 employees sitting in the garage playing on their phones. AGAIN i had to back the trailer into a narrow space between other u-haul by MYSELF, offload the trailer MYSELF. Reserved a dolly but one was not provided, which was a major inconvenience. We had major problems with reservations. We made a reservation 2 weeks in advance for pick up less than a mile from our moving location. The day before moving, we received an email saying the pick up site was changed to 25 miles away. We called a closer location 15 miles away and was given a confirmation for that location. Unfortunately when all was said and done, we ended up having to go to the location 25 miles away. This added 50 miles to a 200 mile move plus the extra time. Not pleased. We have no complaints with the personnel at either location, only with keeping the reservations we made locally.tommy B.
I am actually disappointed in u-haul. I made my reservation online and I was given several options and I selected the one that was best for me. I was then later notified that my pickup location was changed. If my original selection was not applicable, then it should have never been offered if that location doesn't have car haulers.Charles W.
