Well let's see I made a reservation online for 9:00am pick up for Saturday may 2nd and when I got there the computer kept glitching then after I paid 214 for the truck they guy couldn't find the key at all so had too wait like 15 mins for him too call someone too try and help him and that person wasn't very helpful at all. After all that the guy finally found the key then I was able too leave! Then I get too my house too load the U-Haul open back up and whoever had it last didn't clean the back up at all glass dirt dog food all in it so I had too sweep it out first before I could move anything into it!!! Horrible service period. I wouldn't recommend U-Haul too anyone at all, this drew the line for me too never rent from them again!
Clean out the trailer. Previous person used it to haul logs cause it was full of little limbs and was muddy. Took me forever to clean so I could use it.

The owners of the shop were very driendly and professional but the truck was dirty in the capin and the cargo area with mud all over. It has nothing to do with them but the previous reneter who did not cleaned the teuck after his use. Totally the fault of the renter nit the shop owners or employees. I did cleaned the truck as i returned to teach a leason to who ever rented the truck. Thank you

After picking up the vehicle and getting to the location of my move I noticed there was no dolly which I asked for. I was then told to drive to another location to puck up one which closed in 10 minutes. I drove extra miles to that location only for them to be closed. So I had to go buy a dolly to use and used more miles than anticipated in this move.
When they called to verify my backup contact the lady was extremely rude. The ruck was dirty insidefrom previous use. I id not get the equipment that I requested, but was charged for. My uhaul was blocked in so I had to try to drive around and got stuck. I then had to wait an hour to get pulled out. I was then charged for damages to grass and was also charged for a bumper that was already dented. I will never ever use uhaul again. I would not recommend uhaul to anyone.
Not happy with you guys got the uhaul with half tank brought it back on half tank and you guys charge us 30 dollars saying the tank was on 3/4. Don't know if you guys look at the wrong truck but I filled it up to the half mark of when I got it and have pictures. So if you going to rip people of like that I will never recommend anyone to you guys ever very unhappy
Dont have cash to give back deposit on trailer i paid cash for. Had to wait 3 days Still dont have my deposit on truck. I turned in truck on Friday march 6th its now Friday march 13th. For some reason it was not checked in until Wednesday.
The lady who was doing the rental papers was extremely rude. She was so worried about talking to her friend that visiting then to help with the rental. She never told us where to put keys at drop off or anything. Won't be using this location again
Did not answer the phone or called me back after several attempts and when I walked in the store they were sitting in a office chair recline back with the feet up on the desk talking to each other

Dolly was old and the wheels on the dolly are worn out. Truck was old and steering was shaking.
Ended up needing a dolly but this location did not have one.
This location had poor reviews but it was the closest one to me so I took a chance. I'm happy I did, the staff was great, the trucks had cosmetic damage but everything worked well. Pickup and drop off were trouble free and the estimator tool worked great, my final cost ended up to be about $2 less than what my estimate was.
The reason I went to return the vehicle during open hours was so that I could deal with a real person and not have to try to return via my phone or online. There was a gentleman there but he told me he could not return it because it was set up in the system so that the return would not show up until Monday morning as returned. What kind of a system is this! I have returned rentals to uhaul in the past and someone was behind the desk, they took the return information, entered it in the system and it was a done deal. I had to wait until this morning to get my receipt via email to know that everything was fine and return went through even though I returned the vehicle to their lot on Sat. morning. What is the point of having a human being behind the desk to assist you when you make a return if in fact they can do NOTHING. Also I paid to fill up the tank .......cost me $75.00 and when I returned the truck it still had 3/4 of a tank of gas in it...... you will see this on my receipt.... only to find out Uhaul does NOT give gas credits as rental car businesses do. This policy was not made clear to me when I took the truck out in Plymouth, IN. The Uhaul personnel only stated that if I did not return the truck with at least 1/4 of a tank of gas in it I would be charged. Needless to say I am very disappointed in Uhaul service and in the future I will look for another transportation rental company to use. Jane Blank
Unexpected charges/holds on my account has affected my opinion. This location in general was overall exceptional. However, be aware the initial hold that they list on the contract will not be the actual amount they will hold on your account. The contract states they were going to hold 43.01 on my account, but they actually held $150 just days before Christmas. May not seem like a lot, but for someone like myself, who just got laid off by Celadon, not but a week ago! This definitely caught me by surprise and left a distasteful impression on me and my experience. Not sure if it's just this location or U-Haul at this moment. I called the general customer service number and spoke with the supervisor (Kimberly), she was very condescending in her tone with me, when she could've utilized empathy more than anything in this matter. Instead of telling me everything U-Haul couldn't do for me, she should've been apologetic for the inconvenience this has caused with my bank account. I have too many other important things to do over the next few days than to pull an imaginary number out of the sky of what's been held on my acct. The overalls experience was horrible. I will be writing a lengthy letter to the BBB when this is all over. I'm waiting to see if this hold will be released by the holidays! If not, something more legal will have to take place. You can't expect for me to agree to other hold amounts than what was agreed upon in the contract. Nothing in the contract states additional charges/ hold amounts will be assessed. This was a horrible experience! From the initial charge to my account when I picked up the truck, to the second charge when I dropped off the truck, to the moment I had to deal with the representative over the phone and her lack of professionalism and finished off by her superior, who should've handled that conversation in a different manner. Empathy goes a long way, especially around this time of the year! Let alone to not know a person's personal situation. She should've had more class over the phone.
Dirty and prior damage not marked
To begin with, I could not pick the truck up at the original location but was PROMISED I could use the 24/7 pick up. Went to pick it up at 8:30 and was told that location did not do 24/7 pick up. Picked up a truck and was thrown the keys. No instructions or anything. Once we got home we noticed damage to the truck. We inspected the truck and noticed "Quick Claim" stickers with an "X" all over the damage. We assumed that the damage had already been reported and went along with our move. We returned the vehicle after hours and the next morning I received notice that there was an "Equipment Damage" Report that put the blame on us for the damages. I returned to the place where we picked up the truck and asked about it. The gentleman stated it just didn't matter because I got the insurance. I asked how the stickers were ALREADY on the truck? He stated that UHaul checked the truck in and not him. He then proceeded to call him boss. I overhear him say that he didn't see the damage when he checked it in the night before. The entire transaction seemed very shady with this company. I would never suggest this location ever again.
I made a reservation for a utility dolly. When I arrived the location did not have a dolly so what was the point of making the reservation. I was told I could go to another location only probelm if was 4:40 and all the other locations closed at 5:00.
