They charged me an extra 74 dollars 2 times after they charged me for the rental and equipment for no reason talking about its a hold on my money but for what if i didnt even get nothing that cost 74 dollars twice at that


They charged me for a utility dolly which they never gave me, and even when I spoke to the worker who was handling my return, he kept sending me to a different individual who “yes” me to death, but didn't remove it from my bill. The first truck I received was dirty, and the passenger side wind shield wiper wasn't working (yes it was raining). Took 19 minutes to get a 2nd truck.


I loved my experience with one of the coworkers. I had left an important item in the truck and he went out of his way to help me. I really appreciated it and it was a great service.


Customer service. Need more professionalism.

Location is clean & well lite. Not the best neighborhood at 11PM. Gun shots going off in area.


i got there at 9 they told me they were not renting because the plow hasn't gotten there so come back at 11 i went back at 11 & they told me they were not renting because the plow did not come. there was a guy there w a snow blower & he only cleared out a very small area & then disappeared and wasn't seen the entire time i was there. i asked the manager melessa if we shoveled out the truck can we rent it because i had taken 3 cabs that day since they told me to come back & she said sure while she continued to do nothing but be on her phone. another customer was also shoveling their own truck out meanwhile like i said not one other employee was shoveling. when he got the snow removed from the van out she got the van stuck & then we had to again shovel out more snow & get the van out ourselves. once we did that the truck i was going to remove straight forward she got into it & started to reverse it & also get it in an even worse position than it already was although she saw we were shoveling the front of it to remove it that way. it took an hour for 3 customers to shovel out the trucks while no help from actual employees.


I could recommend it, yes, but I would like them to change to a young lady who has a horrible attitude and shows little kindness to customers who go in search of a paid service that is not free. the rest everything is very well thanks.


Have the manpower required to run such a location. I waited for over a half hour for assistance.

I think you can/should improve off- hour customer service over phone. I watched two customers facing difficulties to drop-off in off-hour. They were trying to talk to a representative over phone but it was taking too long to have one

We had this reservation #:22491761 Pick Up Location: Liberty Auto Center Inc 149-12 97th Ave Jamaica, NY 11435 Date & Time: Monday, January 25, 2021 at 9:30 AM, but this location is unclean , no one was available to communicate with us, we waited because we for told he went on a errands to pick up materials and when he was contacted he informed us we have to go to another location because the computers are not working, I saw all the bad reviews online but I was going to give him a chance but my experience how does U-Haul continue to allow this site to continue to provide unprofessional services and inconvenience customers..I'm going to post a review on that location.


I will never use uhaul again. Also will suggest my family to don't use it

Quick & easy pick up


Your employee, Ms. Jasmine Williams, was one of the nastiest employees I've encountered to date. Jasmine had an attitude from the time we began our interaction. She sucked her teeth a lot, banged on the desk, and impatiently tapped her fingers on the desk. After the we were complete with the process, Jasmine did not explain any of the procedures as I heard the two other employees doing as they completed their transactions with other customers (text I would receive upon my arrival to the rented truck). She simply handed me the key with no information on the lot placement of my truck. I then had to walk back and re-enter the location to ask. I saw Jasmine by another door, I asked her which truck would be mine, she chuckled and stated “D”. I exited again to find that row D had about 5 other trucks in that row. I then had to re-enter the location again to find out what truck in row D was mine. As I approached the counter where Jasmine was standing, she quickly locked herself in the bathroom where she stayed for over 15 minutes to avoid me. Another gentleman, unfortunately I did not get his name, but a Latino gentleman ended up asking me if he can help me. I explained the situation, he then walked me out to the truck that was mine. While he was very helpful and did his job, I would not be returning! Jasmine was very rude and trying to cause me an inconvenience, which I should not have to experience somewhere I am spending my hard earned money. Your company is not cheap, I spent over $100 dollars for a rental that a I barely had for 4 hours.


The only problem was that, the service was very slow. With so much workers doing nothing but talking. That is not professional in my eyes. Learn to hire people that want to work and not be lazy.

I booked online, it offered me pickup at 164th & union turnpike, near my home. I was also offered (and charged) to have rented moving pads and a dolly put in the truck for me. When I got there, I was informed by the app that they pickup location had been moved to Jamaica (where there is no parking and a 15 minute drive, I was in a rush and this was very frustrating). When I finally found a spot to illegally park my car I got the truck and drove to my destination only to find no moving pads and no dolly. All in all a bad experience.


I had originally ordered a 20ft truck but this was not available. No one at Customer service when I called in at 7am mentioned this to me. I was offered a 17ft truck in stead. The service person at the counter in the Jamaica location, however, was very accommodating to the mistake and made it right by offering a slight discount. I do believe there needs to be better communication between remote customer service center and the actual location where a pick up is scheduled to avoid such problems - or at least better inform customer.


The first Uhaul I've ever got in to and it was DIRTY! There was dried mud in the floor, trash everywhere and a mask. So glad I had my gloves and wipes to clean everything before getting in!!!!!

I was told by the representative at the counter that it would additional $85 then what I was quoted online without an explanation. Since I had movers waiting I couldn't go further with the questions I had. I tried using my Apple pay credit card, after it went through the representative said it didn't go through. I used my debt card instead. Now I have a charge on my Apple credit card as well as my debt card. Now I have to contact my bank and credit card for the duplicate charges. The van was completely wet like someone just took a garden hose and hosed the entire inside of the van. We had to sit in wet seats since they were not dried before we got in the van. We had to stop at home to use numerous paper towels to dry the inside of the van as well as use towels to put on the seats. I will never be using this uhual location nor this company again. I will make sure to report this poor experience to the Better Business Bureau, Google, Yelp and all online and paper news outlets.
