I was surprised when picking up my trailer that they had to call someone to verify who I was. Really! I had a current Tennessee Driver License with my picture. The process included calling my wife and waking her up to do that. I had made the reservation on line and the lady said it was because I had not entered a second number. Dumb policy and procedure.ANCIL C.
There was a lot of confusion concerning how much my rental is/was. I was quoted online for about $40. When I picked the trailer up, estimated charges were double that and I was told if I returned it before 24 hrs my credit card would be credited for one day. When I returned the trailer before 24hrs has passed, I was told I could've kept it for another day for free. I'm just gonna watch by bank account and see exactly what I had to pay, since no uhaul employee knew. All this happened after I was originally contacted by a uhaul scheduler who told me that the 15ft truck that I had reserved several day earlier was not going to be available. Uhaul is very convenient, and I'll continue to rent them as needed. The in person employees couldn't give me an answer on charges. â€œJoshâ€ from the scheduling center was most helpful and even offered to upgrade my original truck reservation, but a 26ft truck was unable to navigate a narrow an hilly road. I'm frustrated, but I'll get over itJames V.

The only problem that I had is we were running late to bring it back and you all had asked that we call to let you know we were running late I called the first time I was on hold for about 20 minutes I hung up and called back I was placed on hold again I got called back placed on hold again every time I called the gentleman that was answering the phone he was just saying the name of the establishment and saying please hold and throwing me on hold so I wasn't given time to tell him what I needed after being on hold for about 25 minutes total I finally got someone and was able to let them know that we were on our way back we were going to be a few minutes late because there has been a very bad accident and we were stuck in traffic so hopefully runningLate did not affect the price that we paid for the rental I was trying to let them know we were only about maybe 10 minutes at the most late but still I was just doing what they had asked of us when we had picked it up otherwise the experience was OKMegan D.
Make sure you have blankets at the location to fill equipment that was reserved. Had to travel to another location to get my blankets because no blankets at truck pick up location!ROBERT L.

Here is the email I sent the GM of the Farragut store. I was given a $50 reduction in rate and that was nice but not was I was going for. I am still not going to use this location again. The website could not verify my location and after attempting to do so for 30+ minutes, even speaking with Joshua at the 800#, I took pictures of the dash to include odometer reading and gas gauge on full. He transferred me to the share 24/7 line but no one ever answered. I waited on the phone at the drop off location for 15minutes then left while still waiting on the phone until I got home. No one ever answered so I hung up and started the email. I do not expect to see an additional fee for this return. If your website was working properly I would have been out of there quickly. You will find two pictures attached- a close up of the dash and a screen shot showing the time. Please call me to let me know my final cost. This has been a horrible experience from the moment I picked the truck up on Friday. I was given the wrong truck, and attitude from the associate. I reserved a 10' (with email confirmation of a 10'),was given a 15' which I did not want. The contract said the gas tank was full but it was only at 3/8 full. When the associate went to correct the contract I found the number on the contract did not match the number on the truck. I had already transferred items from my car to the truck then had to transfer the items again. And then returning the truck was just as frustrating. I expected more and feel the whole experience with the Farragut U-Haul was unacceptable.Deborah F.

the trailer type I rented has 2 variations for different purposes. as the customer doesn't know that, the customer should be informed by the salesman so the correct model can be chosen. in my case, nothing was mentioned about another model and I was given the wrong type trailer for moving. without a loading ramp, loading was more difficult.RONALD G.

Reserved online 4 days in advance when my wife and son came to pick up van both associates were arguing with your customers. Even though we booked online in advance I had to leave work because they said I had to be there to show my business card, my wife's card was not good enough. When I got there I was told I had to use credit even though I ask to use debit, was told not my system do you want the van or not he was busy. The guy next to me had email confirmation to pick up there your system had him across town again he was told â€œ it's not my problem you have to go to other siteâ€ he ask if Uhaul was go to reimburse his loss of time for their screw up guy was extremely rude and said uhaul doesn't reimburse anyone. The staff there are horrible to customers and if they worked for me they would have been fired on the spot. I will go with enterprise in the future even though their twice the cost.Michele F.
So they have a tendency to give you a truck that is not full of fuel. This way it's impossible to return it at the same level. You either put too much in or too little. Either way they make a little extra. Cute trick but unethical. The people are friendly and process is expedient.JOSEPH C.
