This location is not customer-focused, but instead purely transactional. There was no concern for the challenge I had picking up the truck, nor did they have the equipment ready. When I called them and let them know, their response was, well, we closed at 1 PM and the vehicle was ready. They proceeded to come up to the location to get me the dolly, which was not in the back of the truck, which makes it not ready. Instead of apologizing and taking the dolly to put into the back, they proceed to leave the dolly at the front door and tell me I can come get it. Unacceptable and poor customer experience.

Carla CI always tell my sons: "Don't do something featured in a Seinfeld episode!". But, unfortunately, my experience with U-Haul in La Vergne specifically and U-Haul corporate more generally was exactly like this scene from Seinfeld: "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2D_2l46LQE". They had my reservation for a truck with some blankets and a utility dolly. They just didn't know how to keep the reservation so when I showed up there was no utility dolly to be had. This meant I had to spend an hour in rush hour traffic because I was rather arrogantly told that this wasn't their problem (...), and that it was MY job to call other U-Haul locations and find a utility dolly.
