for a 9am pickup i waited in line until well after 10am. way way too long of a wait time for a "scheduled" pickup.. the employees were great just not enough. significantly under staffed. the staff did ask the large group waiting if anyone wanted a "part time" job. OK kudos for in store marketing but part time, really no wonder its way under staffed. US companies just dont get it.

Have people at the counter be more readily available. No one was there when I dropped off the vehicle. Then an employee came in and said hello and left. Eventually someone came to help me return the vehicle. I understand there could be staffing issues during the pandemic and I did get good service overall.

Your auto turn in is the pits. We tried for almost 2 hours and 2 different phones but it always said, can't find location.we even tried walking to different locations to see if it would work. Also, didn't feel safe their after dark because of so much traffic of people on foot coming into storage area etc.

Customer service, attach equipment properly, respond and communicate to stranded on the highway customers. This is the absolute last time I will ever rent from Uhaul and I will make sure I share this awful experience with friends and family on social media. I nearly lost my family in a roll over collision due to Uhaul equipment failure and after Uhaul initially accepted responsibility as of yesterday they rescinded it and I am now stuck with vehicle damage that I am supposed to pay for the repair costs, I have children that won’t even get in a vehicle now and the Uhaul president for the OR area and that location says standard acceptable procedure when Uhaul, a General Manager at that, hooks up a trailer to my vehicle it is ok to have them bang it down several times onto my ball hitch when they are having a difficult time getting the trailer tongue hooked onto my hitch and I’m not even allowed to step out of my vehicle to see what’s happening. And then 25 mi down the road the tongue comes off my hitch and the trailer is swaying all over whipping my vehicle around on the freeway as well. This is completely unacceptable customer service and I will not tolerate it. Especially a “president” who says there’s nothing else I can do, “he’s the top” this is now a “pointless conversation.”

The experience was great as far as the facility and people. The trailer worked for what I needed but here's some feedback on the equipment. The tailgate was extremely loose and made a TON of noise rattling over bumps. 1: I was a little embarrassed to be making so much noise going down the road. 2: The expressions I saw on faces of drivers and pedestrians I drove by was surprising, I think the noise alarmed/startled people. Some pedestrians looked as they thought they were in danger, and many passing motorists gave me looks. By the final hours of use I figured out how to use a tight bungee to help keep the tailgate tight against the body greatly minimizing the noise. For this reason I'm not sure I would rent this trailer again. Or you could have warned me. It makes me think other people would associate the Uhaul brand as rickety junk witnessing the noise of this trailer.

Staff very kind and knowledgeable. I had a new corporate account and Broch really helped finish my reservations. There were computer issues but Broch stayed on the phone and made sure our plans were fulfilled. I love that store. Oh and the lady there kind and fun. I love her nice festers.

Ron was horrible! He needs to be sent home until the pandemic is over. When I first got there he asked if I had paperwork, I said no, he rolled his eyes and I told him I was not aware he couldn't help me if I didn't have my paperwork, that communication with the "customer service people had not communicated well. He says he will have to sanitize the truck and then check it in. To me this meant, wipe down where the driver was and the affected area and then check gas level, check the mileage and look around the truck for damage. I had already opened up the back so he could see the dolly I had also brought back. He took an air hose to the back, took the dolly out, checked the air pressure of all the tires, checked the oil and another fluid, used the air hose on the inside of the cab, sprayed down the passenger side with disinfectant, I am assuming, wiped down the seats on that side. At that point I was over it, I said to him "you can just wipe down where you need to to get the info you need so I can leave, you can do everything else after I leave. It had already been 15 minutes of me waiting while he did all of this. He said "stand back you are suppose to be 6' away. He said "I don't want to get the virus." I was at least 6' away. He walked away to the driver side, I asked him for the manager, he said he was the manager and I told him he had a boss I'd like the name and a way to call them." He proceeded to get me Kyle's phone number still spouting off at me that he didn't want to get the virus he needed to clean first. I told him he could not get the virus if he wiped down the area to get the mileage and the fuel level. (If he licked everything and I was a carrier, then sure.) I didn't say that to him. I called Kyle and I was very upset, I used fuck and fucking A LOT. Kyle was very calm, considering how irate I was at that point. He called Ron right after I hung up with him. Ron, after hanging up with Kyle, still was saying he didn't want to get the virus, that he was 60 years old and he didn't want to get it. I told him I didn't either but he was horrible at giving good efficient customer service. One of his female co-workers came over to him and asked if he needed help. I, at that point did not need someone interrupting Ron, he was already slow enough. His co worker was 3' feet away from him and I asked why he wasn't yelling at her to stay 6' feet away. She said she was just trying to help him, I told her she would just slow him down. She walked away saying, Geez why don't you change your fucking attitude. (I may have deserved that.) Horribly slow customer service, I understand about the pandemic. I just retired from working in a Portland area Emergency Room in October, HOWEVER, if you are so paranoid that you can't do your job well and efficiently you need to stay home. He is at risk and will be compensated without getting in trouble with the company. Like I said unless he intended on licking everything before he checked the fuel and mi

Notify customers in advance they will have to provide an electronic photo of their driver license before they can physically pick up their Uhaul truck. I DO NOT HAVE A SMART PHONE, NOT EVERYONE DOES! Additionally, I cannot receive text messages. If my daughter had not been with me, I would not have been able to drive away with the Uhaul truck even though I had advance reservations. (My daughter had a smart phone) You need to remedy this situation. Excellent customer service was provided by your customer service people in spite of all the changes due to COVID-19.
