The person inside told me to do it from my phone, that they couldn’t help me. So I had to figure out how to set everything up, and a lot of policies I don’t remember having last time made it an inconvenience. I had to say how many hours I would have the truck beforehand, why couldn’t I just bring it back same day? I only drove the truck 6 miles, but at first I was charged for 30. I’m hoping the proper price goes down. Plus I was told the total would be $19.99 + $1.09 per mile. I was also told I did not opt for Safe Ride. Yet I was charged $15 for safe ride, I drove the truck 6 blocks and back I didn’t need it. I will say the woman who helped me over the phone, Karen, was very pleasant and helpful when I was already stressed by the app and the in person worker. I’d give her a 5 star review

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisThe person who was supposed to give me the keys was not there. The shell attendant was not helpful. BUT The gentleman I spoke to the phone exceeded my expectations in helping get the keys. He tried everything to help me and I appreciate it. Finally an hour later someone from shell walked up to me and handed me the keys. Not sure what he said but I was just grateful to have the keys. But the location itself had no one I could talk to and when I asked for the keys they just said “ U-Haul is separate and the guy is never here. So call U-Haul ”
Aimee LThese people don’t know the difference between 1/8 and 1/4. I picked up the truck with 1/8 gas left, was told it was 1/8, then they email me a receipt with 1/4 listed. I returned it with 1/8, and filled it with gas to the same amount, they still charged me $25! :(
