The individual that assisted me with getting set up with the rental was fantastic but even with his assistant it took far too long to get on the road not to his fault but to the U-haul share 24/7 system (fine tuning is very important for for me to recommend future rentals to other) this was a tryal for our future rentals as we rent frequently.

The entire interaction upon return was handled by text message. There was a bit of miscommunication. Sending text message photos of the interior of the truck AFTER having left the truck behind was a pain in the butt. I should have been advised of this procedure before dropping off the truck.
I signed up for in person pick up and sat in the parking lot for 50 minutes in the cold calling the 1 800 number since the gentlemen there was not helping me. He then told me to call the 613 number, which was his number. Even more ridiculous. The parking lot was not ploughed. Considering we have had very little precipitation this year, this isn't acceptable. The fact that I had hired movers through UHaul, who were waiting for me added to the frustration. UHaul should not have given the option of in person pickup if it isn't available. They should also give people the heads up that it takes 50 minutes to pickup your vehicle. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend UHaul. I would however recommend the movers that I hired through UHaul, â€œNeil Stanleyâ€. They were excellent.
Tom at the Stittsville/Carp location was great; very accommodating and helpful, also very well organized for dealing with customer following Covid19 health guidelines. I would rent here again.
The self serve option was HORRIBLE. I was standing outside the door and it was saying I wasn't at the location. Scanning the barcode didn't work either. The entire process was just awful. I will not be renting anymore uhauls.
The location was fine, but the online check in process was a pain. Location service didn't work, I guess it is a bit "out of the way" and the scanning of the bar code at the location didn't seem to work. I choose this location because it was open, just in case there were problems, but it wasn't really open. There was a guy there shoveling snow, but his response was to call the 1800 number. He was of no help. The person we spoke with on the phone was great, but I'd suggest you don't offer online pick up if you can't work out the bugs/annoyances that have been widely reported online. If I had read those before renting, I would not have chosen mobile pickup.
The trailer needs a leveling jack to be able to hook it up to a hitch. otherwise, the trail is too heavy for one person to lift,
It took over an hour to get our U-Haul for they only have one person working at this location. The U-Haul we then received was very dirty.. food on the seat, the box of the U-Haul had a lot of dirt in it as well and it definitely had not been sanitized since the worker got the keys straight out of the dropbox to give them to me. Very unimpressed especially with it not being sanitized and the possibility of Covid exposure. The location to pickup my truck also changed an hour before my pick-up time. Luckily, we at least had a good experience with U-Haul customer service!
No one answered the door of the shop when we arrived to pick up the trailer. On advice of grandson who was with me, we just took the trailer from the lot as he has done before at UHaul. Unfortunately he based his experience on renting a van and not a trailer. Apparently, the same rules do no apply. Who knew? Next day while on the road I got a call from UHaul who accused me of stealing the trailer. Wow. This rental experience was a quite a mess. However, this is the second time I have rented a UHaul trailer and they are very impressive. Strong and pull true. Will rent again but not from those people.
Not happy with this location service, one person working, had to wait 2.5 h for track, in freezing cold.
One of the rear lights was burnt out so we had to take secondary roads home we didn't feel safe on the hwy 416
Terrible vehicle, you should be embarrassed to rent it out. Plus, Now I'm getting charged $100 more than the invoice that I just received.
Absolute worst experience with a truck rental in my life. Was specifically reserved in a location then they moved the pick up location 25kms out of my way, changed pick up time from 8:30am to 10:45 but still expected it returned at the same time, took over an hour to complete pick up, then charged me $27 for fuel even though it was exactly at the level it was when I picked it up. I will never use UHaul again. Awful customer service, terrible experience, I recommend going anywhere else!
Location driveway needs to fixed as does the equipment.

There was no windshield washer fluid in the truck, and the windshield was very dirty. I also did not get the 10 furniture pads I paid for.
Vehicle had exhaust leak that went into cab of truck...headaches. Brakes poor, horn doesn't work,overdrive doesn't engage. Not the most shining example of yourfleet!
Service was atrocious, things were not confirmed I had to drive 30 minutes further at arrival. The attendant was rude and snapped at me which I snapped back so he decided to yell. My rate was supposed to be 92 or 94 I didn't take the dolly so should have been cheaper. The truck was filthy. Abs was on brake light was on truck was shaking. And a pile of soil was there to make it easier to tip the truck.
The lot is dark and feels unsafe. When I picked up, it was raining quite hard - the lock boxes with the keys were positioned so that I had to stand and be dripped on from the roof while unlocking the boxes and retrieving the keys. If this contact-less pick up is going to continue, recommend at least having a shelter with a roof and some lighting for the drop boxes - and more lighting at the back of the lot.
The mobile application checkin sucks (horrible).
Location was not obvious from the road and was threatened with consequences for being late.
Not any issues with pickup location...its uhaul corporate which gave me problems. Was dissatisfied with having not been able to switch drop off location
The self serve check in process was horrible and I needed the assistance of the attendant to complete the pickup. I was told that the issue was due to my not picking up at exactly the right time. This is ridiculous. I have never picked up a rental truck at the exact time of the reservation. The app wouldn't accept any of my submissions, but gave no errors.
When unsullied mixes up locations own up to it. Client has the original booking with time date and location. So don't blame the client
