My husband never felt so down graded in his life on a previous rental! On my last rental I was insulted & cursed out which was completely inappropriate. I will never use this Uhual location again nor would I recommend it. This behavior needs addressing as this was not our first encounter of rudeness to the point I almost called the police. Your employee running this location is rude & violent eventually someone is going to call the police & file a complaint against her & this location.

Let customers know that they have to click the return truck link BEFORE putting the key in the drop box. Let them know its going to ask you questions concerning information on the dash board. Don’t just say click the link to return the truck. Nothing about the simple statement “click the link to return the truck” lets me know that it has to be done BEFORE dropping the key in the box. Then, you all charged me a late fee because I couldn’t complete the link. I no longer had the key to get all the info. It’s not fair. Make people aware, don’t just assume they already know. Consider the fact that this is new to some people.

We have been using U-haul now for the past 2 years for our catering events. In the past, it has been wonderful! Until new management took over. Since this has happened, we have been charged cleaning fees and fees for not checking in the vehicle when it was returned early. We were refunded last time this occurred, but was strongly advised to return the vehicle how we received it and to check it in online. This past visit was the worst. When I arrived, the gentlemen working, very strongly told me I had to move my car to a parking spot Keep in mind, I have been parking at top of the return lane for 2 years and have never been asked to move. When I came back in to get the 3 u-hauls I had reserved, he told me it was going to take a long time because he was new? He started the process and was having difficulty. Thankfully, the manager returned from getting breakfast, and was able to help him with this process. She started with getting my other reservation completed. When it came time for payment, I ran into more problems. Keep in mind, I had made reservations with a company credit card online. I was told that I had to have the credit card with me to charge it, and that it hadn't attached to all the reservations? Weird, right? I produced my personal cc and carried on with the process. I asked the manager what the point was in putting a credit card on file, if it couldn't be used? Her response, was "I don't know?" The whole process took almost 30 minutes. Isn't that a little long considering I had reservations with payment? Once I returned the vehicles later on that night, I went online to check them back in. Not an easy process, by the way. But I thought I had checked all 3 back in, but when I got my receipt the next day, I guess only 2 went through and the 3rd one had not. Of course, I was charged for that vehicle? Now, why would I check in 2 vehicles, and not the 3rd one. Clearly a mistake, but instead of someone calling me to see if I had any troubles, they just charged me! That's crazy! Also, remember how I was told the company CC had not attached to the reservations and couldn't be used for payment? Well 2 of the u-hauls went to the company card and then the other one went to my personal credit card? Again, weird? We were also charged cleaning fees on all 3 vehicles. We took pictures of how they were returned. Short of us getting a hose and bucket of water to detail it, the vehicle was clean. If the expectation is for us to detail the vehicle before returning, that would be crazy to ask someone to do! In the past, we have swept it out and made sure all the trash was taken out of the vehicle. We were never charged until new management took over. This is not to get anyone in trouble, it just our perspective on how we were treated. In the past we have booked a lot of vehicles from this location, but unfortunately, this will be our last.

Rude, curt and overbearing. I tried to speak with the Regional manger in Jackson about the agent and all I received was more attitude and more rudeness. When I asked for the corporate telephone number the Regional manager said she didn't know the number and hung up. The agent didn't bother to come outside and inspect the vehicle and when I went back inside she wasn't anywhere to be found. Upon arriving to pick up the vehicle the store was empty and I had to search for the agent. I finally found her in a backroom and she wasn't at all happy because I apparently disturbed or interrupted whatever she was doing in the backroom. The printed rated quoted by another agent at a different location turned out to be lower than the agent at the store was willing to rent the vehicle for. I also declined the insurance only to find out that the agent charged me for it anyway and did so by saying the device for swiping the credit card machine was broken and she had to do it manually. I asked about a military rate and was told she didn't know it. The store in Pearl Mississippi is suspicious in their dealings with clients.

When a customer reserves well in advance online for a truck at a certain location, that location should be where that customer picks up. I reserved a month in advance and was told the day before that the location was different, when it was too late to do anything about it. I ended up paying for more miles and using more gas than i needed to. Then there should be compassion and consideration for the customer rather than telling them to accept it or cancel it. Picking up the truck was horrible and set me back an hour. I kept asking the lady in the store if she could do anything, but she never would saying that I had to complete it online. Another lady came and was able to do it. It took me 1.5 hours just to get the truck. Then the lady who I think was the manager told me that she couldn't accommodate the time that I needed the truck because her trucks were in high demand, and she needed it back to rent to someone else.

I originally had a reservation for 3pm at another location in pearl. Online sent me a confirmation for this location and a 4pm pickup. I received a call from someone at this pickup location telling me to come at 4:30-4:45pm. When I pulled up it was several trucks parked ready fro rental. This is the 1st time my reservation was shuffled so much with Uhaul! Never again will I rent uhaul very unprofessional!

Lady checking me is was listening to music in headphones loud enough to have trouble hearing her. I also felt like she was commanding me, not asking. The lady that checked me ib was attentive and helpful. The dolly mounted and blankets were totally in the way, I should be asked if I want them, not having them placed in the way wit note that if I break a seal, it costs me more.

I had the pick up truck for 46 days. Each day was paid for totaling $1567.04. I was told that the milage would be reduced from .59 cents to a much lower price. I was charged full price totaling $1004.77. That is absolutely bullshit. They wanted $2818.56 total. Ain't going to happen!!!

I run a local furniture store, and I've done thousands of dollars of business with U-haul. I usually use another location, but this time I used this particular location. 1) One of my new employees accidentally declined the safe move insurance. When I got the text message telling me that, I immediately called Uhual and told them it was a mistake. I asked if I could just add it real quick. 2) She told me that not only could she not add the insurance, but I would have to bring the truck back to haul, but I would also have to pay for the time I had it out. I had to pay for the use of the uhaul TWICE because of this issue. 3) Never in my life have I had to take pictures to turn in a uhaul, and like I said, I have done literally thousands of dollars of business, in multiple locations with Uhual. It was extremely dark. Poorly lit, and I am a woman. Plus, a man was out dumpster diving in the back. I was uncomfortable being there by myself at 9:00pm, in a poorly lit location, with a stranger, staring at my phone, trying to take pictures that you couldn't even see anyway because it was DARK. I will NEVER use this location again. It is a safety hazard, and the employees seem less than motivated or competent. And I will be filing a complaint.

The pick and drop off experience was PHENOMENAL!!!!!! Please employee more ladies!!! Andrea (pick up) deserves a raise!!! The lady that detected at drop of was also awesome!

I would recommend that the back of trucks be sprayed for roaches and other bugs.
