I was charged $21 dollars for gas when I only drove the van 3 miles. 21 dollars. 3 miles. The attendant who was assisting took a 5 minute personal phone call in the middle of the transaction and used a surprisingly large amount of profanity for a customer service representative.
I asked about all applicable charges in-person with the agent at the desk on Sunday. I asked specifically what charges were applicable and the $20 convenience fee was never mentioned for my rental being dropped off after hours. It was never reviewed or even mentioned. I was also told by the agent that I could keep the vehicle overnight and return it in the morning for no additional charge. The only thing discussed about the convenience fee was if I used the app to check out. The location checked me out in the morning when they got in to the store around 6:45am. I dropped the truck off at 8pm the night before. I am being penalized for dropping the truck off exactly when I told them I would and earlier they said I needed to. Being that my drop-off was scheduled for eight, this would have been something that should have been discussed. Javier Moldando has been extremely rude and didn't seem to comprehend what I was telling him. He merely kept telling refer to contract. But when you don't disclose something like a fee that is clearly applicable, it's bad business and negates the intent of the contract.
This process was the worst experience I ever had with any retail establishment. The original location ask me to push back my pick up time by and hour. Then when I arrive to rent the moving truck a gentleman can to the locked door to tell me this location is closed. Had to call customer service to complain, which do not help at all. Had to drive 20 minutes out of my move location to center city to rent the truck. Then drive back to my move location.... load the truck and drive 30 minutes to my new resident. So, all eggs in the basket worse experience ever. To top it off, I wasn't offered a discount for the nightmare Uhaul cost me or money and time it cost me for the movers....
The uhaul I received had two half smoked cigarettes in the cup holder. Then the truck died in the middle of my move and I receive no road side assistance
They charger me for fuel even though I have photo evidence I brought it back with more fuel than when I left

I still didn't receive my receipts. I requested 40 miles and only drove 20 miles and still charged full price for 40 miles.
Horrible attitude from the â€œmanager â€œ who was taking care of personal business when we arrived. The guy helping us seemed fairly new and wasn't sure if things were being done properly. She seemed agitated in helping. The truck we were given was below E yet I was responsible to have 1/4 tank of gas when we got back. She was annoyed we couldn't wait foe her to finish something else (but didn't explain she had something else) so we waited as long as we could before the gas ran out. She started to yell at us for having an attitude and not listening. She was not happy with her job. I will never go there again and you should rethink who manages your facility.
The people here have always been helpful and work hard to get my transactions done quickly, so I can get on my way. Even more than this, they truly care about the customers. I've gotten and heard advice on how hard it is to move, etc. Thanks!
Picking up the vehicle we were told it was a full tank and to return it with 1/4 tank. However that was NOT the case. When we returned and kindly explained and asked for some sort of compensation due to inconvenience of rushing to get gas (cause we had to return it in couple of hours) they denied and said whatever shows on paper that's what it is. Very disappointing.
There was a dent previously on the hood and I was charged for the dent an amount of $150 for no reason. The employee was rude and did not cooperate, when asked for refund he just asked to dispute the charge. My first time with U-haul and it has been the worst experience. Would not at all recommend to any of my friends.
Truck was filthy and covered in graffiti. Staff was rude and said my equipment wasn't available even though there was a truck on the lot the whole time. The guy who helped at the end was polite but the woman who rang me up was not.

I am so confused and bothered by what happened with my uhaul experience, and would really like to talk to someone. I was blamed for Uhaul not having the truck ready for me at the time that was available on the website, the employee lied and said she called me the day before and tried to leave a voicemail but it wasn't set up, when my voicemail box is set up, I lost my movers because the time provided wasn't available, and when I called the hotline, I was told that it was not on the hotline, the actually uhaul site had messed up and I had to talk to them. I feel like I was taken advantage of, lied to, not given any compensation. I don't raise my voice or complain but I expressed that I was frustrated and was told that that was on me. This was an awful experience, I do not plan to use Uhaul again.
15 ft truck was 12 feet. When I complained I was told it was my fault.
My visit went smooth. I do not know how to improve it.
Have more people available by phone for questions. Tire was bad and we added more gas then when we received it
Angel is great. She was very helpful and quick to process my vehicle order. I appreciate it. Also she was well informed on the insurance packages, which I also appreciated.
I was here on Saturday morning and witnessed a situation where a customer acted very inappropriately. This young man was hostile upon his arrival, interrupted my interaction with Zakiah Cole (which she handled perfectly) and then was yelling at Javier with profanities and threats to â€˜find his boss on LinkedIn and get him fired'. As a witness to the situation I was very unsettled but wanted to extend my gratitude to Zakiah for her extreme professionalism and kindness to me during this hostile situation. She was very respectful and helpful in attempting to change my vehicle. I encourage you to recognize her utmost professionalism and kindness. Thank you Zakiah!

Was an hour late returning the truck and got charged for a full day. Can't this be prorated in some way. Seems a bit disportionate.
I asked if there was parking around the building and I I could renew it every 2 hours via the app. The woman literally could not care less and told me it was not her problem and that I should 'just get a ticket or drive home and uber back'. I think there may have been something wrong with her. The owner (also very weird) defended her and then threatened to not let me rent the van because I told her that was information that maybe would be helpful to their customers. Just a complete lack of caring (mind you there were like 10 spots on the one side of the building that she could have suggested I check). Also, the online pickup process was completely messed up and didn't work...which then in turn screwed up the process of charging my card in the store. The owner took my card for about 5+ minutes just trying to get it to work. Avoid this place.
