The vehicle was really bad to drive, very unstable and hard to control. Old ... it should be retired immediately. I felt unsecure all the time, didn't even take the highways, had to drive on the side roads adding a lot of time to my commute back and forth. It was a bad experience.MARCELO C.

Hello, My name is Craig StMartin. I recently rented a 15ft UHaul truck picked up in Fayetteville Arkansas and dropped off in Plano Texas. When I placed the original order #25716773, the destination showed U Haul Moving and Storage in Plano Texas. The agreed rental price was $166 to this destination. When I went to pick up the truck in Fayetteville, the order# 94263616 was assigned. It appears the destination was changed to McKinney Texas. The rate shown on the agreement went up to $277. Today I dropped the truck off in Plano as originally planned. Please help to refund the delta to the Mastercard charged. (ends in 3672). Let me know of any questions you may have. I had to go to 4 different U-Haul locations to get the van I reserved. That is 3 too many. It took 1 hour and 36 minutes from the time I reserved my van to the time I got the van. I had to drive over 10 miles going from UHaul location to UHaul location. That is unacceptable.Skylar K.

I rented a 27ft can. They had all the 27ft vans backed in and parked so close together, had I not been as skinny as I am, I would have not had a chance of being able to get in the van. It was incredibly hard even being skinny to get in. On top of that, because they were so close together and are the largest vans available, it's very hard to turn due to the turn radius and axel lengths. In the the uhual parking lot I was not able to just pull straight out. I had to turn this massive rental van to avoid other rental vans parked in front of it and not turn to much as the back end of this van would hit the other 27ft vans bc there was less than a foot of space on either side. In the 15 minutes it took for me to get in the actual van and out of the parking lot, which includes having to pop one curb because the turns to exit the uhual parking lot were so tight, I was trusted beyond belief. This 27ft was so old it had over 150,000 miles which felt unsafe to me. It was so old I could not figure out how to turn the cabin lights on or off, the lights for in the back of the van or my driving lights. I was not able to have the back of the van lights on without having the driving lights on and since it was night time was quite annoying. During my move it rained and rained hard. I was not expecting it to but it did. With it raining and being night time I am actually surprised I did not get In to an accident bc the driving lights couldn't let me see more than 5 feet infront of me. It look as though I had taped two flashlights to my front bumper and put my life in the hands of them. The steering wheel had quite the play to it which made adjusting to stay in my lane with the rain and wind hard. The back latch was rusty and hard to use. The truck was so noisy from how old and how many miles it had that I was just waiting for it to break down on me. It's no wonder I was trying to be sold the insurance so hard for a move I had to drive a total of 100 miles or less for, because it feels they were pretty confident it should have broke down too. When I asked how to do the online return because the store was going to be closed when I returned it. I was told to just go to the uhual website and figure it out. And once I figure it out it'll walk me through it. Not to mention my only interaction with a uhual employee was the store manager/owner. So I thought just maybe it would have been better, but sadly it was not. He did not seem to really want to provide excellent customer service and show me how to do the online return. He didn't want to take into consideration that it would be almost impossible to even get into the van because how close they were together and he couldn't give two shits the condition of how old this box of rocks I drove was.Aaron K.
I did not like the fact that a picture of my drivers license was taken with a personal cell phone. You should have equipment that scans the license and synced it directly to your software.JAMES B.
No one was available in the return area. After waiting 15 minutes at the vehicle, I went into the rental area to wait yet again for assistance in returning the van. I was then told to leave the key in the van and an email would be sent confirming the return and final cost. April at the front desk was very helpful with a complicated reservation. Ivan has been fantastic with 3 vehicle rental returns over the past few weeks and even helping to get us set up with a large rental unit. This U-Haul location runs more smoothly than others I have visited over the years. To improve: Set up a frequent account renter system. There is no reason I should have to go through that lengthy phone check-out process with DL pictures and a dozen questions. Rental car companies have my info and profile saved. I walk up to a car with the keys in it and go. Easy. You should have perfected that software by 1998.Edward L.

Then returned the truck an got a fuel charge for the same amount of fuel that I received the truck with. She said it was notes wrong but was in the notes. Why not read the notes before charging a card. Then I couldn't get thru to the service center. This was a terrible experience a lot of charges for not knowing the policy or poor procedure.CARL E.
