Beautiful nice new vehicle. Clean. Only bummer was U-Haul had to change pick up locations which was 20 miles further away and ate into our mile allotment.

It was 4:30 in the afternoon and the door was locked it took almost 15 min for some one to come to the door and let me in to check me out
Tyler SThe customer service was great but upon further realizing (after already having left the location, which was 40mins away from home) the A/C on the rental truck didn’t seem to work. It turned on and blew out hot air the entire time. We messed around with the controls and nothing seemed to work. It was a very uncomfortable 19hr drive in that truck with no proper working air conditioning. We had to have the windows down the entire time, therefore we couldn’t really listen to music that well or even hear any conversations because of the wind from driving with the windows down just to get some cool air flow. I know U-Haul’s are typically not updated inside but in addition to having no A/C, having to manually roll up and down the windows and manually lock and unlock the doors was just a hassle as well.
Joshua IYour questions are all about the location, but most of the experience had to do with the online process, which was poor. When I went to the location, "the system was down" - or extremely slow and it took over 30 minutes to pick up the van. I had to download the app to my phone, which I don't like to do, and then the app was hard to use, sometimes got stuck, was generally a pain with all the photos etc., and it tried to charge me for gas erroneously. Fortunately the woman at the counter was able to help with that. The counter people were nice and helpful but were hampered by the poor system. In comparison, renting a car at Hertz or National is a breeze! Next time I need a van I will try Home Depot.
