Was told everything was good when I returned it. Asked if I put gas in the vehicle. I responded yes. The person doing the inspection even checked. Said everything was good. But, then I get hit with a $14 charge for FUEL?????? I will be calling customer service on Monday!

I selected n/a for the last 2 questions because I could not decide what to select. There were cigarette buts in the ash tray and some previous customers waste management bill left on the seat. "Daniel Tucker" if I remember correctly. I understand its a "work truck" ect... My issues are with U-Haul corporate? I made my reservation about a week in advance if I remember correctly. I signed up for the "mobile check in" can't remember the terminology. Several days prior to the reservation I uploaded pictures of my drivers license ect. The U-Haul website I was registered. I arrived to willo true value around 0920 for a 0900 reservation. I had to retake my "selfie" because "it could not be verified" compared to my drivers license. The agent named "Olivia" that I was messaging with tried to call my contact to verify it was a real number/person or whatever. My father who was my contact received at least 5 calls this morning from U-Haul. He was speaking with someone from u-haul and the same phone number was calling him. A few weeks prior to today I purchased a 100$ gift card from u haul, thinking this would make the things easier the day of the move. Boy, was I wrong. "Olivia"told me this morning I could not apply a gift card to my order online. Seems strange because the exact website I purchased the gift card from was the same site I made the reservation on. So back to this morning, I stood in the parking lot of this hardware store watching the screen on my phone for greater than 30 minutes. This was the express checkout? Finally I sent a message though the messenger part of the U-Haul website because U-Haul was going to charge my credit card for the entire bill. One of the other "agents" said I should "proceed in the store" as a gift card cannot be processed on the mobile website. This just seems very wrong, mostly because the U-Haul website is the same site I purchased the gift card from. After going inside the hardware store, 10-15 minutes later I walked out with the keys to the truck. I was told my credit card was going to be authorized for the entire bill. The entire bill was less than the 100$ gift card. I completely understand U-Haul having a valid credit card on file, but authorize it for the entire bill? Uhaul just tied up 100$ in my checking account, when the gift card covered the entire bill. So this story gets better... my reservation was from 0900-2100. The staff inside the store told me I would have to have the truck back prior to closing time, 1800 per the staff. I rushed the entire day. I understand was 20 minutes late to my pick up time but u hauls express check out was greater than 40 minutes? Then the staff in store states I would have to have the vehicle back prior to 1800 to be able to use the gift card. I had asked if I keep the truck over night and waited until the next morning I would incur additional fees. I believe I was told a 20$ convince fee. This was a terrible experience. I beli

I reserved a truck that was a mile from my location. I got a call from U/haul and they changed my pickup location. So I had to use a Uber instead of riding my bike to the location. This was a additional 12 dollar hardship. No reason for this reservation was made almost a week in advance

We spent over an hour waiting in line to pick up the truck. The computer was very slow, and each checkout lasted , easily, 20 minutes. We were the third party in line when we arrived at 9am. We had pre-ordered the truck and were told to come at that time. We were told to make sure we swept out the truck after use, but found that it hadn’t been cleaned out before our use which was very frustrating on top of the frustration of waiting in line. I would not use this particular location again, and was not the only person who felt this way - very evident from the other people who were waiting in line with us.

Customer service was great but there was an issue with the website that took WAY too long to check in and out. It was utterly ridiculous and was not fair to the very kind employees working. We waited at least an hour to pick up, which took away from our drop off time. The issue needs to be addressed or this location will lose business.

truck still has some dirt in it -- not broom clean. steering components were loose - although this is not unusual for many U-Haul rentals I've had previously from other dealers. The rental went well - done over the internet. Pricing was accurate enough. Unless gas mileage was less than 10 MPG, I put over 7 gallons back for a 30 mile drive??? U-Haul is a good company. Thx.

The lady working at this location was fantastic. I would definitely recommend the location however my issue was in the truck itself. I rented a 20 foot truck earlier this year and it was much more comfortable and drove way better. This one had a wheel alignment issue and hence pull to the right the entire cross country journey from Ohio to Florida and made the drive very very difficult and very stressful.

I booked in advance online. I received a text that my appointment was changed from Lake Shore in Euclid to the 185th Marathon. When I arrived they were out of trucks. I had to wait until they found another truck which was all the way in Willoughby. It was very inconvenient.
