Uhaul necessitating credit card for use of pick-up truck or Van but not for the ten foot and larger cube trucks- delayed/complicated my move. Unhappy with the new way of doing things on a phone- (I am Old fashioned with carpal tunnel syndrome.) I know others who prefer not to monkey around with things we haven't and do not want to do. Worker was helpful to myself and others. location was great _ U haul new methods were a pain in the __SS. The Van was wonderful! the rear view camera a nice touch

Robin, Stephanie, Lori, and the young man (maybe Jared?) we’re great! Robin is so wonderful, patient and helpful - the first person that helped me with my reservation. Stephanie is a gem, she is calm and so positive. I would rent from this location in a heartbeat! The entire team has excellent service and I could not speak more highly of them! There were some stressful points with UHaul (One of the American phone representatives) but as for the Hazelwood location in Abbotsford they were excellent and made Moving a better experience. After being f##ked around by one big waste of oxygen at a different location the girl's at Hazelwood did more than they had to help me out. Highly recommend this location if you have the choice.

Had to book on line only. The employee had me fill out a form,. complete with pictures, not only of me, my driver's license and finally the mileage, gas gage on the vehicle. Needed to set up an account with UHaul. Very nice employee, only doing her job. She needed to go through this process, because this was primarily a storage unit. Pain in the butt, but the vehicle was nice and lived up to standards Hopefully next time it will take a much shorter time. Please don't blame the employee, she was just doing a job dictated by someone nowhere near where I picked up the vehicle..

You have good people who work here - your app is so poor and requires way too many steps and then doesn’t work at all. I spent way more time trying to do everything myself and then having it not work which required someone to intervene and then call a manager. Keep people and let them do their jobs which is customer service! I hope I never have to rent a vehicle from you again just because of the app. The woman who helped me was stellar in trying to resolve the problem caused by your automation, I hope you recognize her for her help,

It was a simple process to pick up and return the vehicle we rented using the 24/7 self serve. Only complaint is that we didn’t get an email copy of total charge as was stated on the website when we returned the vehicle.

The staff and location were 100%. Your friggin online pu and drop off soooo painful we will never use it again and tell all r friends to stay away.... Sorry but even the staff warn people that its painful and slow took over an hour to pu and 20 to drop off time we will never get back... Thinking I should be sending you an invoice for my time and then call it even. Sorry, that r take on your online rental booking system. Love to hear your reply, You know how to reach me. thanks, P

Make sure that your online process works. I was unable to log in and even the agent on site could not do it with my iPhone (she had to do through her computer). Your agent on site, the manager, was extremely friendly and helpful.

The rep I dealt with Robin was terrific however this system of yours is terrible. What is the point of doing the online application when you have to do it again when you pick up your vehicle. Your person in Texas who contacted my wife was totally rude to her, accusing us of being late when in fact I went to your facility an hour and a half early.I am still waiting for my deposit back, as I do this I have paid twice for this vehicle rental. I have used U Haul on at least 10 previous occasions and it was a lot easier than this. I won't use you again, there are many other rental companies out there.

I booked a van for 6am pick up. I recieved a phone call confirming that I could pick the van up at 6am at the Uhaul location on Hazelwood ave. We arrived at 6am and found out that the store doesn’t open until 7am. We phoned head office and spoke to Don in Phoenix. He told us that we needed the app to pick up a vehicle before 7am which was not mentioned to me when I booked the appointment, when I spoke on the phone to the uhaul representative confirming my appointment nor was it mentioned in the text message confirmation I received. Don did his best to help us through the app and once we got to the point where we would type in a code to open the box where the keys would be, we still didn’t have a solution for getting through the locked gate to find the box with the keys in it. Don then said we would have to wait until 7am. Once we came back at 7, the girl at the desk was very rude and mono tone. Didn’t offer any help to help us through the paper work to get the van and said we had to do it all on our app. The van itself was perfect. But we set up the 6am pick up time because we had a market to be at by 8am. We didn’t get to that market until after 9am and were charged a fee for late set up and hurt our reputation with this market. When we returned the van, a different girl was understanding about our frustration and gave us the rental fee $20 off and said there should be a fuel charge even though we had filled the tank back to 3/8 full. When we got the van, the tank was just under 3/8 full which shows in the pre inspection photo. So in reality, we got 20$ off for Uhauls mistake which cost us 4 times that much in late fees and lost sales. When you book a truck online for pick up earlier than 7am, a pop up window should appear explaining that you need an app to pick up that early and have the truck at a location that allows access that early!!! Very unsatisfied and will not be using uhaul again. Rude un helpful staff ( except for Don).

Monthly rentals should be simple as we only rent it locally for Canada postal delivery but have to go every Monday to show them my visa card

The fact that you can call and book to rent equipment from this company in advance and have them tell you it’s not guaranteed that you will be able to pick up said equipment has added more than necessary stress to and already stressful situation If I am calling in advance to book equipment it should be guaranteed to be there the day that I need it. I should not be getting a call a few days before I move on whether I can pick up my stuff or not.

I have been dealing with the Abbotsford (Hazelwood Ave.) location now for years and have always been quite satisfied with the service I've received. This past weekend I needed to rent a van for a short move and had to use the U-Haul Truck Share 24/7 process to reserve and then obtain a vehicle. I was NOT impressed with the ponderous and very "repetitive" and NON-USER FRIENDLY process I had to navigate in order to simply 'get' the vehicle I had already 'reserved' "on-line" a few days prior to pick up. When I arrived at my prescribed time I was shocked to discover much of the information I'd already provided now required me to provide this information AGAIN...and now using my cellphone! Thank God for the staff (Sabrina I believe her name was) who understood my frustration and helped me navigate the final check-out process (taking pictures of my Driver's License etc.) ***This type of information SHOULD have been able to be done PRIOR to arrival at the pick-up location which would have made it much more efficient for the customer and the staff at the location! The U-Haul staff should have been able to simply "verify" this by checking the customers driver's license or proper photo identification! The 'Truck Share 24/7' process as it exists now is both cumbersome, time consuming and frustrating for both customers AND your U-Haul staff who are placed in a difficult position dealing with customers who are very frustrated with the whole ordeal! I would likely go and rent a vehicle from another vendor locally that has a more 'user friendly' and time efficient method of renting a vehicle! AGAIN let me stress this was NOT the fault of your staff! They were VERY HELPFUL AND UNDERSTANDING and should be commended for working within such a ridiculous rental format!
