Kristen CI'm going to tell you right now these people went above and beyond to help us in the middle of running a nursing school, the ladies handled business better than any man I've ever dealt with and I'm going to tell you again that I won't go to another location again if I ever have to move their equipment was clean operated smoothly not a one problem not one to the whole experience it was very cost-efficient and I definitely recommend this location thanks again y'all
Anthony WWe stood outside the location for 40 minutes after our rental time (the store was supposed to open at 9am). I finally was able to get on the phone with corporate who said I could leave with the trailer and they would finish the dispatch over the phone. While on the phone with corporate the U-Haul store owner called and left a nasty message accusing me of stealing his trailer and that I had no right to “not wait on nobody”. When I called them back he proceeded to yell at me over the phone. We then had to come back to the location so he could take a picture of the trailer hooked up to the truck. We had a group of 30+ kids who were late to their summer camp because we spent two hours figuring this mess out. This is not the first time I’ve had to wait 45 minutes to an hour outside of ACL U-Haul in Anderson waiting for them to open the store because they were not there when they were supposed to be. If you have to rent a trailer or a truck, you would be better off going to the North side of Anderson or down Scatterfield. Extremely unprofessional. We will not be returning.
Jordon FMade a reservation at this location a week in advance. Mobile pick up at 8am. Arrived, no codes received when checking in, so we waited, called uhaul, customer service has no idea why nothing has been provided, no codes, no keys. By this time, its after 9, customer service is not able to contact anyone at ACL Moving Company office either. They do however find another truck at a different location and set up the reservation. By the time I am able to pick up at the second location and get back to my house, its almost 11am. Customer service was great when I called, and the gentleman at the second uhaul office was very nice, but our moving day was awful. It was the hottest day of the summer we have had so far with extreme heat warnings, hence getting the truck EARLY in the morning so we could load it quickly before the heat got unbearable. THEN, I look at my bank statement, and find I was charged twice for the truck rental. Moving is expensive enough without being double charged! When will I be credited back for the duplicate charge??? This all could have been avoided if the first office, ACL Moving Company hadn't had been incompetent.
