I now know to do a thorough inspection myself. The back door required 3 people at once to open it, the so-called A/C blew hot air only and the gas tank had much less gas than marked on the paper work.

Be sure to keep an eagle eye on your dealership.... Within the first mile after leaving the U-Haul pick up location, I mentally noted that the fuel gauge was squarely on the 3/4 line. When getting fuel prior to returning the truck, the paperwork had 15/16. There is no way 15/16 was accurate. The difference is around $20 more fuel that I was required to refill. It could have been a U-Haul dealer mistake. If so, I understand. But, I will be watching for it in the future since we will be renting trucks weekly for our new garden center business. If I see it again, we will switch to using Penske trucks. Not quite as important, but we also had to wait excessively long both times for the desk to wait on us; and, then, to get a truck for us. They don't work very efficiently and the owner is curt. Their (apparent) son is very nice, helpful, and efficient.

I rented the uhaul for 3 days and my paper said i had 3 days, but my return date was only 1 day apart not even 24 hours. The guys were very unprofessional and it was a kid that rented the thing to me no older than 20. He took my id and input my information for 10 minute and when he was finally done with the id he gave it back and we stood there another 10 minutes until he said he had to start over and he needed my id again so after 45 minutes he moved my truck up and when he came back in he gave me the key and started talking to his buddy about how he would have sold him a a stereo for cheaper than the guy down the street. After an hour i got my truck and left..

Owners also sell ATVs and other things and are very busy. BUT they took care of us in a timely efficient manner. And we're fine with us keeping trailer an extra day.

The inside of the store needs to be cleaned. It looks like the floor hasn't been swept in months. I saw no precautions to be more sanitary during this covid-19 pandemic. The seats/chairs need to be either deep cleaned or replaced. But, the staff are very friendly.
