The man in charge of the place most at times not at post

The dealer first gave our truck to another customer. They had to call him to bring it back. After that the system was so slow that it took them 45 mins to complete our pick up. Finally another location processed it and e-mailed the contract. The whole process from the moment we got to the location to driving the van was an hour. Needs a lot of improvement. I can’t tell you what. Please go to this location and see it for yourselves. Moving is already stressful and shouldn’t be made more stressful by U-Haul.

Please discontinue your contract with this place. Very unprofessional and late. Horrible experience :( The manager is not accountable. Waited an hour and half to return the truck, when I was told he was five minutes away and arrived 5 minutes before opening 9AM. His administration of this business gives Uhaul a bad name :(

Well the gas that was on the paper was not the same as what was in the van and I was charged 6 bucks and some coin even thou I put 5 dollars In the van service could be a little bit better they have u waiting till there ready also it's a restaurant so the rental guy is busy doing stuff for the restaurant while until customer are waiting that's my feed back

I really think this place could be a little bit faster seems to be a little bit unorganised and also they charge too much for 4 hours I paid $69 for Jess from 12 to about 4:45 which normally the U-Haul down the block I would only pay 50 something bucks and I would have it for 24 hours

Upon my arrival no one greeted me. There were children with no shoes on with their feet on the table. The reason why I’m referencing this is because the pick up location is a restaurant. The person in charged walked right by me and asked a young boy (which didn’t look any older than 14 to help me .) When I got the vehicle it had not been properly cleaned from the the previous rental. But yet they had a fit when I returned the vehicle and because I drop a charcoal brick and it was crushed. The gentleman made a huge scene out side of the establishment and I had no choice than to buy a dust pan and clean it myself. To clarify, I have no problem cleaning up anything I’m responsible for. However, the scene was unnecessary especially when the truck was dirty before I picked it up . I will never go to that pick up location again.

Please work on the availability of your vehicles. After booking for the reservation, I later learned that the vehicle is not available because it hadn't been returned yet . someone still has the vehicle.

The space is very tight as it’s located inside a small restaurant. I was not able to do the 24/7 service on my phone because I still had to go in the small cramped restaurant. I ordered a dolly for my departure and they young man told me there were none. Thankfully when I spoke to his father and he found me a dolly. The young man at the counter appeared very young and was plying in his phone while servicing me. More professionalism.

Well first of all I needed a van not a truck second the truck was in poor driving condition when I when to roll down the window the knob fell off and the truck kept bouncing like i was on a dirt road I think you should get new trucks before someone gets hurt trying to drive.

This was the one and only time I’ll ever use U-Haul. First, I scheduled a self pickup at the Webster ave location for 8am. When I got there for my scheduled pickup. I was disappointed to find out that I needed to wait for the office to open. I called customer service to resolve the situation. After waiting for 20+ minutes for a rep to answer. It was close already 8:30. I waited for the office to open only that the rep was 10 minutes late. I only got my reservation receipt at 9:23am 1:23 minutes past what was scheduled. I only was able to officially start my rental at 9:30. Furthermore, I was informed that I had to return my rental at 5pm not my scheduled 10pm. This resulting in me having to stop midway what my plans were to return the rental. This was very unprofessional. I don’t care about being compensated for the rental or asking for a refund. However, something needs to be rectified. I was relying on a smooth transaction and in return ended up with problem. I Was supposed to be charged .79 cents a mile but when I returned my rental I was charged 1.79 per mile. Something between the rental location and the website doesn’t match. Although I have documentation for both. I won’t reconnect U-Haul to anyone and will not use this service ever again.
