The worker at this location is rude and he didn't help me whatsoever, I understand that right now everything is virtual due to covid-19 but it's a little confusing and he seemed annoyed when I asked for help. He explained that it was virtual because of covid-19 but wasn't even wearing a mask when it's still a requirement in Chicago. I was also charged for fuel when the gas is exactly where I left it when I got it. I've used uhaul before and have never had an issue until now, you guys should be more clear when trying to go virtual.
I was asked to park the truck on the street and put the key in a lockbox. There was no clear signage to indicate drop off location. Protesting was going on and I was concerned about leaving the truck on the street. I took pictures and videos of the location and the truck just in case something happened.
Website log in is hard to use for online pick up
I have never been yelled at by an employee for wanting to check the mileage and fuel tank before. The employee here went crazy yelling "Why are you giving me a hard time?! Why are you making me check the damage on the vehicle?! Why are you acting like we are going to charge you for every little thing?!"

Anthony was not very clear on the return of the truck. He did not tell me to follow the link and complete the return, he just stated park the van put the key in the box. Had I not received the email, I would have been charged an additional $20 fee.

Actually have the truck I reserved available.
Since I have returned the van in working hours of the station, I was especting someone to check the van (gas, miles, condition) at the moment when I returned the van and with me. Also, at any moment of the reservation online said that I had to return the van at 3pm, as it was told me wen I picked up the van.
I was worried that parking the car where I was told would result in a ticket since it's a pay by box area. As long as I don't get a ticket, I'm completely satisfied and would recommend the service to someone else.
I do not understand the process of u-haul. My record/ identity/background check should have been completed before the day of my rental. It was terrible having to wait for someone to manually check and approve my account at the time of my pick up. This process could have been done in advance or uhaul should have given me an extra hour with the van in exchange for my time to waiting to fill out my info and be approved. I do not understand why I had to re-enter my license info when I did it at the time of my original check out. Parking/leaving my car was not easy and there were no signs indicating where it should be left. This check in process could have been automated and seamless but I left feeling worried and unknown of what charges I might acquire. Please fix. Please allow users to complete as many processes/checks necessary before the check in time. I did not like waiting on the street for some unknown robot or person to approve while I could have done this days before and actually drive the truck I rented at the time I requested. Automate these processes. Thanks.
- The Uhaul mobile login site kept giving me an error message when I tried to login. It kept saying â€œsomething went wrong on our end, try again later.â€ - The truck windows were so dirty it was hard to see out of them. - On a positive note the man at the desk was very friendly and I really appreciate him.
I signed the paperwork for a few around $80 and my account has been charged $130. With no contact or no explanation. We left the Uhaul in the exact same condition that we got it. And the man who helped us get the Uhaul did not explain anything very well at all. Nor have I received any information or contact in regards to the increase in cost. I am extremely upset. We did a same day pickup and return and only drove an hour away and back so I don't understand what the charge is for.

the opt out model when choosing a moving package sucks. Also, there was no communication that I had to return the furniture cushion blankets, which came in a plastic wrapping that I opened. Because I did not return them I got charged.
I could go on about this location but bottom line is i was extremely unhappy with Uhaul overall. My reservations was changed three times along with the location less than 24hrs before pick up which put me out of my way knowing that i had a 18hr drive ahead of me. I was being charged twice after i was given a price 23days prior to pick up. Uhaul customer service is the worst and you all don't talk to each other. The first location i picked up the truck took my money and would not take my calls after. The last location i picked up the equipment i had to fight with the manager over the phone and i did not appreciate his tone on the phone either which i made him aware. I have rented from uhaul 4 times prior to this 5th time and had never had this issue. It was problem after problem. I ended up leaving hrs after i initially wanted to leave so i could beat traffic. Yup you got it...because of uhaul i ended up in the same traffic i tried to avoid. Very poor customer service.
Amazing location, Anthony was very helpful! We picked up and dropped off the vehicle with no problem, everything was well maintained.

The parking situation is incredibly difficult for both pick-up and drop-off. There are no designated spaces, and most of the spaces require that you maneuver these large vans/trucks into small/awkward spaces underneath the train viaducts.
The mobile check-in was not easy/convenient for the first time. It took way longer than expected and was frustrating. The seats of the truck had dog hair on them.
