The site manager was at an appointment when I went to pick up my truck so I had to move another truck I was not renting to get access to my truck.
Everything was very easy.. clean and followed state guidelines regarding covid 19. The entire experience was excellent.
Everything went smoothly, from the paperwork to the operation of the truck, and I would recommend U-Haul's Dover location. It would be helpful to have an explanation of the yellow trailer light on the dashboard.
THis location was incredibly cramped and tough to get in and out of.
Issues with the car hauler. Not a issue a Dover location. Car hauler was from other location and didn't have a license plate.
Easy check in/check out. All good.
Interior light in the back of the truck was out. Made things a bit more difficult, loading at night. Was able to work around it with a drop light / extension cord, but moving is hard enough without having to add another thing to manage.
It took us four hours and four locations to finally find an open establishment. Once we finally found an open location the owner/manager was very helpful. It should not have taken four hours to return a uhual to a location 46 minutes from our home.
The trailer safety chain hook was broken and there was wood pieces in the trailer bed ( not cleaned out) Uhaul changed my pickup location 3 times.
There was no where to park the truck in the space provided with the trailer attached. When I contacted the person who was in charge they were extremely rude and started yelling at me. I even dropped it off the next day instead of the night I wanted to drop it off and they were still so rude. I would never visit this location again and I would not recommend this to anyone.
The location itself is fine, FOR PEOPLE WHO LIVE NEAR THERE. I reserved my truck 17 days in advance and selected a pickup location near my house. I was told I would be contacted by 6pm the day before my pickup to confirm my pickup arrangements. I WAS NOT CONTACTED so I called to confirm. When I called I was told that the closest location would be a 45 minute drive from me. When I picked up the truck it did not have the pads that I had ordered. Really bad service from U-Haul. I don't blame the location. I blame U-Haul central office for this failure of logistics.
The attendant who assisted me is nice and informative. The van was clean and very new.
I rented this truck back in January but missed this survey email. The location in Dover was very helpful and funny but still professional. Thank you.

Nothing, it was a seamless rental.
The uhaul reps on the phone were abominable but Vito almost made it for it. He was a pleasure to deal with & couldn't have been nicer. Made pickup a breeze!
The truck was FILTHY. It smelt of CIGS and had ASH EVERYWHERE which is unacceptable especially because the rental customers are extremely asthmatic. There was also a HOSPITAL BRACELET inside the truck. When renting the truck I was under the impression it would be fully sanitized, espeically because of COVID19. UHAUL endangered our lives by being so negligent.

Parking at location is a little tight, but otherwise okay. Office manager was polite and didn't take long to get me set up and on the way. Vehicle turn in was quick and easy. Will definitely consider using your service again. Thanks!
Vito, the associate, was rude and charged me 2 mikes extra.
The customer service was horrendous. The employee present was rude and instead of helping with the situation he proceeded to raise his voice. His tone was unpleasant. I was having trouble verifying my information however instead of asking me if I needed help he said I needed to move the truck. Which i could not do because of the aforementioned issues. The key was not in box 4 as stated in the app. After informing the clerk he was further frustrated and yelled at my father. I do not usually leave bad reviews but I had to speak up.
