Your hours are terrible. It's not realistic to close at 4 pm. Most people aren't even done work by 4 pm. So getting to pick up the truck in time is tight. Not everyone has the flexibility to take time off work, or the ability to do things online. It's also ridiculous to end the day at 330. Most days moving takes the entire day. Being done by 330 is unheard of.kristine S.

We were called 30 min before picking up the truck that they had none available for us even though we reserved online. The employee at the desk was very friendly and obviously, this wasn't any of his fault. We needed a u-haul truck in order to move out of my suite and I really relied on this equipment to be out of my place in time. We were able to reserve another truck but the location was much further than the one we agreed on. I think we got extremely "lucky" that we were able to get another truck BUT this was very unprofessional of the company to pretend to be reliable when they aren't. On top of that, the truck had a quarter tank and the receipt showed that it had more than that, meaning that when returning the truck we would have to fill up more gas than how we got it... Such a rip-off.Salam Y.
I rented a truck from a location in Nanaimo and then I got a phone call saying they didn't have it, so they told me another Nanaimo location. And then the day before I was planning to move, 30 minutes because uhaul hours were closed I got a phone call saying Nanaimo didn't have the truck I ordered so I had to go all the way to Duncan. I assumed since it wasn't my fault I had to go to Duncan, and that it was uhaul fault for not saving me a vehicle and being unorganized, that I wouldn't have to pay for the mileage from Duncan to Nanaimo. But that was not the case. They had 4 days to tell me my truck wasn't available, so I would have went with another company or made other arrangements if I had been given enough time. After my Roomate and I called customer service multiple times, and being sworn at, we were told that we will only get a $50 refund even tho the extra mileage is over $100. The service was extremely unprofessional, and I will know to never ever rent a uhaul again.RYANNE M.

Didnt end up getting our 2 dollies since the time it took to get to finish with 1 customer was more than 15 minutes. (wasnt finished still when we gave up) We left because we only had so much time with the Uhaul. Also wasnt the best feeling coming out to get the truck and finding a siphon hose coming out of the truck. The uhaul itself was very clean though.Brayden V.

Rented a car trailer... Completely bone dry of brake fluid - had to purchase & fill reservoir. Doesn't UHaul periodically verify they're equipment? This thing was completely dry... Over all, good experience, good service Polite & courteous.Richard S.

No other company in Duncan to rent large moving vans from. Inside of building is ridiculous and so understaffed. Had to wait 20 minutes to be served when picking up the van. This is the first time that the vehicle was not filled up when you take it. Meant I had to put gas in it at my own expense.Shari P.
