I had trouble getting the u-haul app to work when I did an overnight drop off, thankfully the staff were able to help ke the next day when I called. And I had a battery die on me and had to call in a boost, the terminals on the battery were somewhat corroded. Other than that was quite happy with the service, price and quality of the truck.

Improve your customer service at staff level. Some of your new policies should not apply to a regular customer of uhaul ie. the need to contact someone else to confirm i am not a criminal. That sucked especially as every other time i have rented i was never asked for that info. When i queried the policy i was told we have always asked for that which is funny as i have never been asked for that info on any other occasion that i rented a vehicle. Also i was told i could not rent the vehicle over the weekend as you like to keep vehicles for families that move on weekends. Some of your policies are quite strange.

Truck wasn't swept out prior to us using it and gas wasn't at half tank as promised. However, the store was very neat and the staff had amazing customer service. Very friendly and good humored people!

This location was great but the booking experience was not. I picked this location as my pick up however the day before was contacted and told to pick up at another location. Went to the new location at pick up time and found that I could not pick up there but back at the original location but was not notified of the change back. This running around made me question the organization of U-Haul.

The management team was amazing. Service was prompt friendly and knowledgeable. I am a member of a mangament team at a local busy I have sent dozens of people to this location for this very reason. This is a location that does honor to your company.

The clerk at the counter was rude and sour and should not be dealing with people as her customer service skills are atrocious. Also, the policy to phone someone to confirm as an alternative is ludicrous. I will not be using U-Haul again and I will encourage the same of all my friends and colleagues.

Biggest complaint would be that you reserve it for us, then get us to pick it up where ever when we obviously are booking based on our closest or most convenient location. We wound up with a flat tire. The roadside assistance people were very helpful, and tried to be as efficient as possible. it was a three hour wait while the call center in Arizona figured out who could help us in Alberta. But follow up was terrific, and the clerks that helped at pick up and drop off were very courteous.

Ensure that customers that use the online service DO NOT have to go through the whole process again with the U-Haul rep at the store. It took the staff 45 minutes from when I got to the rep to receiving the keys, not including a 15 minute wait in-line do to only one rep working. Hire people who can speak english. Returning the rental was just as bad as the pick up. I could not understand what the intake rep was saying!!!! I had to go back inside to find someone that spoke english properly. Do not Luer your customers in with false advertising on your vehicles. Renting your in town trucks for $19.95 isn’t true. You’re still required to pay $.49 a kilometre and $15 for insurance which should be included (at least the insurance). After paying U-Haul for all the hidden fees and the replacement gas it would have been cheaper for me to have had hired a courier to deliver the item I required the truck for. There’s something seriously wrong when paying a courier to deliver something is cheaper than myself doing all the work with the rental.

Initially, I was booked at another location and verified it on the phone. When we arrived to pick it up, it was closed and we had to call to find out it was at another location altogether. Clearer communication with regards to neighbourhood Uhauls and hours/pick up locations would be beneficial. :)

Hire more staff. Poor counter agent was alone while the line got longer and longer. We were there for over 30 minutes before we reached the front of the line. She was very efficient, but stressed. You’re going to lose her if she has to deal with these working conditions repeatedly.

I made 8 phone calls to try to prepay as someone was picking the trailer up for me.qnd kept getting told they couldn't try this instead, I downloaded the app as I was told I could prepay thru it only to find out once again wrong info. Called again and specifically asked if I was speaking to a staff member at this location and was told yes..and then told I could come in and once they verify that it's my credit card i could prepay..so i drove across town only to find out once again not true and the person wasn't an employee in that location at all! The only person who was helpful was Melissa at the actual depot..she was awesome.

Overall my experience was great! No real complaints, however one of the signal lights was not working. Also, the online check in did not go well. I could not log in and check in the vehicle. I needed to call the service desk and ask them to check it in for me. Thanks again, I will definitely use you again in future!

Your crew was awesome. Three counter agents handling many customers, as quickly as this process can be. Support staff outside working well with counter agents. This operation looked like a well-oiled machine, firing on all cylinders. Counter agent helped me to purchase all extra supplies: retrieved them from supply shelves himself, instead of directing me to get them myself. That was a nice touch, and helped me very much, on a very busy and stressful day for me. Thank you for a great service experience.

Have already submitted a complaint to UHaul management. Basically received extremely poor customer service, were sent across city for a truck because truck we had reserved was not there but then were called to say actually truck WAS there and had to drive BACK across the city again to get the truck. Treated very poorly by staff. Cab of truck itself smelled strongly of cigarettes - neither myself nor the other person travelling with me were smokers so we found this very unpleasant.
