They were not open at the time of drop off. So have no idea if it was cleanliness or if it was hospitality anything because they were closed at the time of drop off.

We did not see anyone, we used the drop box for the key
Since this was just a phone drop off I didn't have to deal with the office or a person so most of the evaluation is really not applicable. It was easy to get to and to find a place to park the truck. The drop off box was also clearly seen.

Excellent customer service. More places need to take note of how they run things. They got a forklift and brought the trailer to my truck and offered to help hook it up. Very friendly and efficient service. Definitely will be recommending them to my friends.
1) Pickup was scheduled at 7. Store didnâ€™t open until 8:30 and keys were not in the truck like they were supposed to be. 2) mileage was wrong, and was even noted when I got it that it was wrong. Was allotted 64 miles and went over only because the mileage was wrong. Had to pay for what I didnâ€™t use. 3) rude tellers at both pickup and drop off. Pickup was pissed because they had to rent the truck to me that early and drop off was pissed because it was raining. Sorry but Iâ€™m not in control of the weather!
They did know I was coming. Initially said they didn't have any units to rent. Had a hard time with the computer software, tried to charge me an extra $30 until I pointed out they processed the charges wrong and added insurance which I didn't want. Took 30 min even tho I paid ahead and checked in early online. I like uhaul especially the after hours return. Too bad the pickup can't be after hours too.
Clean the inside of the windshield, know what accessories were purchased with the rental and have them ready.
when arrived to pick up trailer it was not available there and had to be located. put us a hour behind while uhaul located one and brought it to this location.. the people at the location was great.

It was a very different location from what we had agreed upon and 160 miles out of the way!
I drove the vehicle 9.8 and it took me just over 6 gallons to fill up the tank so obviously I didn't use anywhere close to that amount (probably about 1 gallon) therefore it wasn't close to a full tank when I picked it up. The tank read somewhat close to full when I picked it up but I thought it had been topped off just before I picked it up so that is what I did. In conclusion, I don't think anyone would think this was fair and not what I expected from an otherwise great company (U-Haul).
I can't think of anything that you need to do to improve your service. Every thing went Great and I am very happy.
The vehicle was clean and the people at the rental site were excellent. The truck was based on an Econoline, and the engine sounded like all the lifters were failing. Worried the engine would fail the whole trip. Brakes were spongy as well. I don't blame Schaefers, they got the vehicle from another location.
Faster check in. Otherwise nice people.

If you could have the truck manufacturer put the radio controls on the steering wheel, that would be nice safety feature. Other than that, it was great!!

When we went to rent the truck the truck was FILTHY dirty!!! Was told it was sitting in the back for 3 months, it look like it had not been maintained at all...truck was covered with dirt, spiderwebs, windshield was so dirty we could not see through it, the box itself was very dusty and I had to clean it PRIOR to packing the truck! I also did NOT like the fact that the truck was rented to me with a partial tank of gas, when I rent a truck I like it to be FULL so I can LOAD AND DRIVE not load and get fuel....was an AWFUL experience!
revamp your intire computer software to be less complicating, as it took me over thirty min for the employee to complete my checkout, and thats after I spent that amount of time completing the reservations, for waht I dont know. Next, how about hiring individuals who know how to hook a trailer up, or can run the computer without excuses. At the drop off location the owner was completely rude and self absording attitude convinced me< to never again rent from U-haul. I'm only wrighting this, which I never done before, because as a fellow business person I feel that the corporate management should know how there name is being driveninto the groumd.
