Excellent service and very frirndly, would recommend future use to everybody in area. Only improvement I know is better advertising for this location.

The truck did not idle well and stalled on me at one stop.
I reserved a 15' truck 3-4 days prior to pick up. I actually went into the location to do this. When pick up day arrived, somehow I was not in the system to pick up at that location but at a different one. I had to wait 30-45 minutes for the transfer to take place. After we inspected the truck we were informed that the dolly would be charged if the zip tie was broken. When we arrived home and opened the back we then noticed the zip tie was broken. I called the location multiple times with no response. I had to drive back to the location to inform them that the zip tie was broken prior to us renting the vehicle. They said that would be fine. Once we returned the vehicle the receipt was updated with the mileage I used. The next day I saw 2 identical charges for the truck rental. This made my account be overdrafted and charged $29 each time the something I had scheduled to come out of my account. I am very displeased with this. I called U-haul customer service and they said it was a glitch in the system but it would take days for the credit to appear back. Really bad mistake during these times. I am in the Army with 2 children and having a rough time during the pandemic. My husband was laid off and I due to the circumstances and I was the only one working. So to be without money for days was very stressful. That is exactly why I don't like providing my card information for it to be stored in a computer for a company to make mistakes like this.
I thought that the place to get the rental went well. However, the truck on the way to Alabama broke down in NC. After dealing with roadside assistance, I was stuck on the highway for 2 hours before someone came to look at the vehicle. The gentlemen was unable to figure out what was wrong with the vehicle due to all the error codes that were present including the speedomitor no loner working, the gas read as empty, check engine light was on and the stability controls were not working. When speaking with roadside assistance again, they said we needed to get the vehicle towed to Charlotte in order for me to get a new rental truck. I went ahead and drove the truck to a small gas station to wait. Basically from 11a to 4p I was dealing with this mess and a tow truck never came. I was able to drive the truck very slowly to the uhaul in Charlotte. When I got there they were able to get me the new truck. However, they closed right at 5p. That tells me that by the time uhaul would be able to get a tow truck out, it would have been to late and I would have been stuck in NC. This whole ore deal was unacceptable and I am very frustrated with the way uhaul dealt with the situation. By the time I got on the road it was 6:30p causing me to not bet to Alabama until midnight. It should never have taken 7 hours to deal with this problem. I am unhappy with uhaul with the way they handled this situation. I feel that I should get a little bit of a discount with the amount of money I paid. Lastly, I lost $45 dollars in gas when I filled up the previous truck before it broke down and I feel that I should be refunded that amount of money.
People were great and very helpful.
Don't pull a bait and switch on pickup locations. This cost me an additional 15 miles and my time. If you can't honor the reservation say so at the time.
1. In the middle of the pandemic, not even one of the half dozen employees who worked in the office or who came in from another part of the facility was wearing a breathing mask. 2. After I had moved the assigned trailer by myself and connected it to my vehicle, I discovered that the door would not open. I drove the 100 yards to the office and was told that, "Sorry, that door has been stuck for a long time, you'll have to drive back, disconnect that trailer, and hook up to a different one."
A bit of a long drive to drop off the truck, but it was a very nice facility.

I had rented a 6 x 12 covered trailer and had filled out all information on-line and had received a confirmation call- all on Thursday 9-10-2020. When I arrived the computer then said that my car was not rated for a 6 x 12, despite the information I had entered 2 days before. After 30 minutes of calls and computer work, I was able to get the trailer, but THERE WAS NO ONE THERE TO HELP ME ATTACH THE TRAILER TO MY CAR! It was very difficult to get the trailer hitch on the car directly in position as I was unable to lift the tongue on the trailer and maneuver it onto the hitch. Also, no one there to help me remove the trailer after use. If you are going to rent trailers of that size, either have someone too help or let me know in advance so I can bring some help or decide not to rent there. Note: The lady at the location was very nice, but couldn't help with attachment or removal. It was on Sear Country Road in Gloucester, Virginia
Just update your computer system or the internet connection to make the experience that much faster and fluid.

Straps on car transport were over tightened so I hat the tire straps were next to impossible to get out of the come along. It took 2 men and myself to get them out. Better maintenance of come alongs and check the straps before just saying all looks good. The UHaul office didn't do anything wrong this is a maintenance issue. They were so personable in the office. Good people.
Would definitely recommend for trailer and truck rentals. Great customer service!
UHaul location was kind and nice. Uhaul needs to work on your computer system for the independent dealers. Slow , I signed up on line now way I should have had to wait 30 minutes to go back over the system. This happens at every independent dealer. Please improve.
Your computer system was down. Too too long to run my debt card. Your system needs to be update.

This placecwas fine but i was supposed to take it to a different place. When i gotcto the other location they were no longer in business. I had to make 2 phone calls and drive another 8 miles to find a place to return the truck.
I choose to use the U-Haul 24/7 app since I wanted to pick up my vehicle prior to opening hours. The app was poor! It was down when I arrived for pick up and cost me 45 min before I could get on the road.
I think it would be nice to keep the customers info on file for at least a six mo. period when they have already rented other items from U-haul within the six mo period therefor wouldn't have to go through the long form process that would be nice, I have found you go back the next week and have to do it all over again with no changes to the customers info. THANKS
