The process is NOT easy and needs to have more information provided. We arrived at 8:30am to be told we needed the lockbox code as the person covering the U-Haul desk would not be in until 9:30 (on a Saturday this seems not efficient) We called and had to provide a copy of the drivers license again as well as a photo of the driver beside the truck. A 10 foot truck does not provide enough space for a one bedroom apartment. Thankfully we had two Jeep SUV's with us or we would need to make two trips which was 70km one way. This was the worst truck rental we have ever had and we not be going with U-Haul again.
Very friendly location. The rental and use of truck was well explained, and all our questions were answered. We are very pleased with this location. The truck was clean and ready to go.
The employee at the store told me he did not have the keys to the truck, forcing me to wait on the phone for an hour with customer service, only to then find out he did have the keys and was incredibly rude about it when we asked him why he didn't give them to us when we first asked. It was incredibly frustrating and wasted an extra hour of my day where I could have been moving. I will not recommend this location to anyone.
Had issues getting truck. Guy was late (15 mins) Because is was in a convenience store had wait until customers served.

My location and time was changed the day before my pickup despite my concurrent reservation for movers. The staff person at this new location didn't arrive until 10 am leaving my movers waiting 30 minutes at my home for me to arrive. They were therefore not able to complete loading the truck and I was left to finish loading with no help. Not a good experience. Very frustrating.
Miss guided, miss communication, wasting time. Very stressful, especially after travelling from 5 hr drive from up north to pick up a truck for 10 am and they tell you they don't have the truck etc. I have ppl waiting to move wasted almost two hours of my movers time and I still had to pay them. Not impressed at all.
I have had bad experiences with uhaul in the past, but this was the final straw. The biggest issue was that despite reserving my vehicle online for a specific location I was given a truck on the other end of town. This tripled the amount of time I was to spend driving increasing my kilometers and gas. As well, I had to arrange rides to get to and from the vehicle. Something I would not have had to do if I was given the truck I had reserved. It is company policy that I be contacted by phone to confirm changes of any kind to my reservation and I was never consulted. Furthermore, there were items left in the truck indicating that I had not been inspected. Which became an issue when I returned the truck as there was damage to the vehicle from a previous customer for which I was presumed responsible. I will not be renting from uhaul in the future.
This is the worst experience we have had with U-haul The u-haul rental is located within a convenience store. We had to wait 30 min both for pick up and for drop off - because we were informed that convenience store clients take priority. In the middle of our payment and review of rental agreement we were repeatedly interrupted and told to step away so that owners of convenience store serve customers coming into their store. We have rental from u-haul on at least 5-10 different occasions - and this is easily the worst location and experience we have had
When I picked up the truck the gas was a little more than half full. I was in rush and I didn't check it against my contract. I trusted it because it had never happened to me before that it doesn't match. When I returned the truck I realized it was reported that it was full so I had to pay an extra $55 to fill up the gas! In addition to that, I checked in online to avoid unnecessary contact to people but the key wasn't in the lock box, and I had to go in and redo the whole transaction in there. And lastly the didn't have tapes and covers I had ordered online so I had to drive to a U-Haul center to pick up those. Not recommending this location.
In spite of the truck arriving on time and clean, this was one of the WORST experiences I have EVER had with a rental company. The person was not helpful at all, pointing to a sign at the counter when we needed help. The location's parking lot was littered with syringes and broken bottles, trash, the location was not clean or welcoming. Our pick up time was scheduled for 9:30 however, we were not approved via mobile check-in until 10:30am. Moving is unbelievably stressful on the best of days. To not have a person available to answer our questions, being forced to use mobile tech in a sketchy neighborhood was even more frustrating. If I could, I would have given this place 0 stars. MAYBE 1 star if you're the type that likes to pick up rolling papers or a glass bong before picking up your rental truck. But that's not for us. I will NEVER recommend this location OR UHAUL truck rental services to anyone.
Service to get vehicle to took numerous phone call and took over an hour to get the vehicle when I was already on a time crunch.
it's in a sketchier part of town
Returning the truck was a nightmare.. spent 30 mins in the parking lot fighting with the 24/7 truck share website/app and it wasn't working. Due to covid the store refused to do the check in and only after calling a manager I managed to get someone to agree to check it in. The next morning I received me receipt with a $20 after hours fee when I actually returned the truck at 2pm. Customer service said it was the store that put it on there... Would not recommend getting a uhaul from this store.
The cell phone return process would be very convenient, and adds some safety for both renter and staff in this pandemic environment. However, it didn't work for me: firstly because my phone has the location function turned off and I'm too much of a luddite to fix that on the fly - and my ride had arrived, so by the time I reached that point in the checkout process, I was a few miles away and the system presumably would have decided I had not returned the truck or had returned it to the wrong location. Fortunately, being a confirmed luddite, I had anticipated some sort of problem and so upon returning the keys to the clerk I made a video of that transaction in case I would need it. I emailed instead to confirm that the truck was returned, and received a prompt reply assuring me this was ok.
I was not able to complete the return process on my phone, and had to go into the store for help. The person who helped me was polite and efficient. Perhaps my inability to complete the return process on my phone was due to technical inadequacies on my part, but I do everything on my phone, so perhaps the return process could be made more clear. We had such a great time using this location - truck was there and ready right at our pick up time. Had it within 20 minutes after signing papers and inspection. And the woman looking after us was super friendly, knowledgeable about the rentals, and left us with some good laughs! Would use again

I have used this location twice now and both times it has been quick and easy and reliable. I really appreciate the friendly service and the convenience of where they are compared to what I need.
Not rent uhaul from a convenience store where nobody knows how to do there job because now I am in a dispute over 50$ charge on my bill and your customer service employee Casey Roberts has the absolute worst customer service I have ever received never rent from Uhaul again and I make sure everyone on my social media and yours sees all the paper work and police report I had to file over all of this
There is no proper signage telling you where to go, one woman was responsible for processing our pickup and cashing out all her customers as well. By no fault of her own of course, but the process took incredibly long because of this.
