The 3 girls at the front desk all looked mad and distracted and didn’t even look at us , a stranger could’ve handed her my ID and she wouldn’t have noticed, the van had a giant dent on the side, no one came out and inspected the van with us.. they literally handed the key and said good day. I took a picture with a time stamp of the van so I wouldn’t be charged for the damage. I will not be using this location again.

Door was locked before 5:00. Checked the truck and then called me next day to tell me I owed $2.00 for going 5 miles over the limit... that’s a joke

The only thing is that they close at 4:30 pm for returning with a person but overall everything was great.

I won't be coming back to U-Haul, This truck was given to me with two miles before empty I barely made it to fuel station.

Reserved a furniture Dollie but was told none were available when I came to pick up truck, therefore had to stop at another U-Haul dealer to rent one. Also, there were no tie down straps in the truck even though the description said that the 15’ truck comes with them. Therefore, had to make another stop at a friends house to borrow tie down straps. Furthermore, once attempting to tie down the piano we picked up with the straps we borrowed, we found that the rail on the inside of the truck on the right side was ripping off the wall and thus was not secure at all. Had to reposition the piano and tie down to the back rail at that point. These should be checked and better maintained in the truck. All of this made the whole rental experience with this u haul dealer very frustrating. Would never use or recommend this location again. Also, on top of that, the women there at the front desk were very unfriendly and unapologetic.

This was the biggest joke of an overall rental that I have ever had. I booked the truck on 7/31 in North Aurora for 8/11 and ended up driving all the way to Joliet a day early to get a truck. Huge confusion on their part and the part of "corporate" who she made me call due to the final driver not being able to come a day early. What a mess. At least we go the move done.

Have better maintenance on your equipment!! My trailer had balled tires! And when I brought it to the attention of the employee they didn’t really care!

if we choose a preferred location. please advise us at check out our rental is at another facility. this is a huge inconvenience. has happened to me twice in a month. I'm not satisfied as a customer having to pay additional miles. I do have other options and I'm very disappointed with both my online rentals. Thank you,

I had reserved furniture pads and in spite of the fact that there was a whole stack of them in the facility the agent would not rent them to me. Now my furniture is scratched up. This location was terrible. She took forever to book me the truck. Didn't even give me instructions as to which truck I was getting. I had to try ignition key after ignition key to find the one that worked. I definitely won't go here again.

Staff were not the friendliest. They could use some training on customer service and might benefit from a simple smile. I made reservations to pick up in Channahon and was not told of the location change and pick up time change less then 24 hours prior to pick up. Very disappointed with service overall.

I told them (U-Haul Glendale Az) I was dropping off in Joliet. And they said that’s fine in writing. Now I’m told I owe $58.00 for dropping it off as they agreed. I’ll be posting negative reviews on every site I can. Cheat a family is bad business. You people are rip offs and liars. And I’ve got the notes to prove it which I am also posting. Beware.

Allow customers to park in the lot over night or until they return the truck. Calling U Haul and not getting a recording is very hard. I called customer service twice and was on hold for 15 minutes each time before I gave up. Look at the contract for more info. There was no info regarding after hours drop off. I tried to start a chat and got no response .Then I tried to set up another rental today before 8:00 am . Communication needs to be better.

While there are diagrams online explaining the dimensions of the truck, I found it quite misleading that uhaul considers the small area above the seats a part of the 15’ measurement of the trailer. Also, the truck only had 1/4 tank of gas when we picked it up, so we didn’t have to return it with a full tank, however it would have been nice to start our 350 mile journey with a full tank.

One note on the truck, which was otherwise excellent: the dash showed a warning that two tires had low pressure. The very nice staff person said there wasn't really a problem, and pushed a button to make the warning disappear temporarily. But later when I checked for myself, I saw that one tire's pressure was 37 psi and another was in the 40's, compared to the recommended 80 psi. So I inflated them before I started my long trip, and then everything was fine (and the truck rode much better, with the proper tire inflation).

I was under the impression that I purchased the furniture covers. I was not aware that I was suppose to return them. Once the employee told me I was suppose to return them I told her that I was going to return them she told me I could not because she charged me for them! I think this is crazy!!!!

Charge the right amount. Make sure the location answers the phone when calling multiple times to confirm. Have employees that are knowledgeable about policies and practices.
