Key wasn't in the lockbox. Person tried to rent me equipment that I needed cash. Truck was all duty and no blankets at all. For all the times I have used uhal this location was the worse.

I took my time and made sure I had the van cleaned as I had received it. but later when they emailed my bill I was charged a 50.00 cleaning fee plus tax. you can never get anyone on the phone, someone answers and it like it is a house phone and you woke someone up and they hang up on you. I have a dispute filed with the credit card company. stay away from this place

I reserved the truck for 3:30 and when I arrived I was told I have to wait until the truck comes back. I was given attitude and treated rudely. If the situation was that there is only one truck that should have been mentioned before I made the reservation. I did not get the truck until 30/40 minutes after my original reserved time slot. I then has to fill up the $5 of gas although the tank was still at the full meter. Completely horrible experience I would never come back there again

The people running the location hung up on me repeatedly. I tried to rent the van for one more day and they told me there was a reservation. When I went to return the van there were many more on the lot to rent. This locations communication skills are very poor. I made a reservation online and the location was trying to charge me something different, until I called him out on it. I feel this location does not represent your company well at all. Because of them I don't think that I would ever use uhaul again.

Do not rent from this location. I rented a 17 foot truck for a 200 mile move. 30 miles into our trip the check engine light, oil light and some other figure with a wrench lit up. The dashboard looked like a Christmas tree. The truck was also very slow and I could tell it was not switching to the next gear. It also needs a wheel alignment. We prayed all the way that it would make it and not leave us stranded on the highway. This location does not maintain its trucks and is just looking to make a buck. I felt we were in danger using this truck on the road. Additionally the staff was very unfriendly. On this extremely cold day they would not allow more than one person at a time into the facility. All the people I had to help me move, had to wait outside in the cold. Overall a horrible experience.

Disorganized, unprofessional. There's no branding signage and we weren't sure if this is where we were supposed to go. There was no check-in process. He didn't count the blankets, didn't check the mileage. The only redeeming quality is that the had a gas station onsite. It's on a very busy street corner, co-located with mini-market and a neighborhood garage. They made US park the truck in a very tight spot.

Finalizada la renta debian devolverme $69.49 pero al dia de hoy no lo hacen, llamo a lis numeros que me brindan y me cortan la llamada me acerque a la tienda de 22 passaic in kearny Nj, y no estan disponibles. Favor que alguien solucione.

They beat me on the gas. The truck was not full when I got it. Traveled 5 miles. Paid $14.00 to fill tank when I returned truck.

I have been charged extra $20 as after hours service charge & he the guy at the store filled in gasoline for $6 as per the receipt.. whereas when I dropped off the car the 3a the gas indicator was at the exact same level of F as when I picked up the car ... which was not required as I already filled in the gas at the time of dropping off...he never marked anything on the paper saying it's full and when I checked it was on F in the indicator at the time of pickup...and that's the exact it was after I filled in the gas and dropped off at the centre. I hope to get the false charges be removed

This location failed to set up my pick-up for 24/7. I had to call customer service (transferred 4 times), until I reached someone who called the store manager, who refused to solve the problem (but 20 minutes later did anyways). The attendant in in the morning claimed to not be able to help me or to be able to call anyone who could help me. He also told it that it was "not a problem" because I could return at 10am. I had set up a pick up for 6:30am because that is when I needed the truck. His patronizing demeanor was insulting. When I finally got the passcode, I opened the box to find it empty. Then the gas station attendant (same as above) saw that I opened it and got the key from inside the store. He had the key the entire time, and similarly had the contact info for his manager.

Customer service is terrible. Very dismissive. Not friendly, manager very rude. Never ever again will I rent from this location. I've worked in HR and customer service for Walgreens, I believe this location need to be trained as well. Different cultures, different tones toward each customer is unnecessary. Door was closed in my face as I returned car, I was told check my email with details of vehicle being returned. I returned it early, no acknowledgment of it, they didn't say thank you for using Uhaul,

The clerk didn't seem to know what he was doing with the barcode scanning. When he gave me the keys, he realized that the car parked in front of us left and had to come back. We eventually got to move the van, that was sandwiched between the rented van and the can behind me. The whole process took over 30 mins from waiting outside to driving out with the rental van. Not a pleasant experience.

online rented what looked like a Sprinter type van-NOT the case, It took longer to locate because of the bait and switch. They keys were not in the lock box. Van stunk like smoke or weed, I called to report it and was on hold over 20 min. The tank was not full, called back minutes later that was again 20-When I needed to extend my time I was on hold 17mins then transfered where I was on hold for nearly an hour when I finally hung up! I tried to extend the time from the website and saw no such option. They charged me for a second day when I was back same day, returned the truck with @full tank and only 9miles over my estimate. Had to drive with the windows down all the way to my client because I didn't want the furniture stinking like smoke. In the return, I watched a video...answered and pictured for 20min survey on the app and then the guy who took the keys wanted to go over the entire truck again.

Site gave me a dirty van and tried to blame me for the van being dirty the van was new but had been used before. The manager at site tried to say I dirtied the van. They never even inspected the van before I took it. They just gave me the keys and didnâ€™t even come out side with me to look at it. He tried to say I did construction with the van when all I did was move my belongings. Never was there any dirt near the van by me. Iâ€™m not happy with this place I went all the way back home to clean the van after moving for two days when I didn't even dirty it I received it like that and all it was was footprints on the passenger side floor. Not a great experience. I donâ€™t mind cleaning it if I made the mess but telling me Iâ€™m gonna get charged when I wasnâ€™t the one who did it was wrong.
