Passenger side tire was bad upon pickup. I thought it was just a noisy and rough riding trailer but as soon as I picked up the new mower I purchased it was bouncing it around severely so I stopped and checked the tire had a slipped belt and was not round at all. One side of the tire was good the other was swelled out along the tread and rounded like a motorcycle tire. I immediately stopped and just happened to be next to a Uhaul dealership. They actually had the exact trailer i had rented at that location. Instead of allowing me to swap trailers Uhaul made me wait over 3 hours to get someone to repair it. First they said 45 minutes then an hour later said he would be there in 20 minutes. Then 45 minutes later they said 5 minutes and after another 30 minutes the tire repair guy finally showed up and changed the tire out. They told me that the trailer was for local use only and had to be returned to that location however the trailer was tagged in Maine and when I dropped it off the dealer told me no it can be used for either. I used to use Uhaul a lot due to me owning multiple businesses but I will certainly consider their lack of empathy and customer support the next time I need to use them.
