When we picked up our Uhaul on Monday we gave them an estimate of 50 miles for our trip and ended up going over by a mile and some change. Those charges came off our debit card instantly while the receipt was being printed. Then 2 days later the charges for estimate we gave them of miles were charged and said "pending" and has not yet been reversed 4 days later. I've already called and complained (on Weds) and was told it was a "glitch" in the system. The funds are STILL being held and here it is Friday.

Make sure the equipment is in working order. When it was time for us to use the dolly, we realized both tires were flat. It was after hours so I couldn't return it but I did get a refund.

We needed a furniture dolly to move a large, awkward piece of furniture and all that was available was an appliance dolly. We made do with the appliance dolly but a furniture dolly would have worked much better.

This site was wonderful, however I was scheduled to have a 26ft truck at Laurel Park Tire in Martinsville at 9am, I got there at 9:30 and the owner said he hadn't had a 26 ft truck in 2 months. He acted as if I was bothering him. I had him look up my reservation because I did get a call AND a text saying my 26ft truck would be ready at 9am. He said oh it won't be here until 11:15. My movers contracted by uhaul were waiting in my driveway being paid by the hour at 10 am. I called the 800 number and discussed my issue and the best they could do was a 20 ft truck. I had to take it because i had already taken off work. The truck was not large enough and I had to make 2 trips and it was raining very hard in SW Va on friday. They compensated me a whole $10 off my rental! This was a complete inconvenience and making 2 trips was not in the plan nor paying for men to stand around. I'd like to be compensated I some fashion for this inconvenience. I also do not recommendd Laurel Park tire being associated with Uhaul they were terrible and rude.

When I called to confirm my uhaul pick up I was transferred over 4 times and every time us was the wrong call center for my area! I was given a direct number for my location and it still wasn't right! Each time I waited on hold to see was it my location was longer than 15 minutes each time!! Very unorganized

Properly maintain the trucks. The transmission in the truck I rented was in dire need of attention. The truck's transmission issues almost caused an accident.

Not happy with UHaul. Had to travel 45 miles to get truck. No one called me to discuss pickup location after I had made a reservation 10 days ahead of pickup time at a more local UHaul store. Did not know where I was getting a truck from until the day before at 5 pm when most of the stores are closed. Had to scramble to make arrangements to have someone get me there to pick up truck. Service from online and telephone was terrible. UHaul gets a 3 out of 10 for their service to a customer. Shame on you UHaul.

Make sure if someone is getting charged for a one way to EXPLAIN that there's a BIG RIDICULOUS fee that comes with that! I got charged $200 for a 15 foot truck that should've been right at $100!!! I'll never use uhaul again and will NEVER recommend it to anyone! In fact if someone mentions using them I'll give them every reason I have in facts to NOT DO IT! Worst experience and service I've ever had!

I am VERY dissatisfied with the service I received!!! Seems that someone from the location I rented from stated some things that were NOT TRUE, according to statements made by the area field manager (Zachary Huemoeller)!! I have contacted sooo many ppl from UHaul about unresolved issues with being over charged. Also discrepancies in charges from bank statement that has not been accounted for (Didn't receive credit for charges already paid!!) Took place in March ....AND THIS MATTER CONTINUES TO BE UNRESOLVED!!! I would get a different response EVERY TIME I CALLED customer service. I have had customer reps hang up on me. I've always rented from UHaul before with no problems, but this REALLY TAKES THE CAKE FOR ME!!!!!!!!!! JUST WANT EFFORTS MADE IN RESOLVING MY CLAIMS!!
