NOTHING ... my experience was so positive, efficient, and impressive. I have already committed to using Jake's next time we need a rental. On a 1-10 scale, 10 being the best ... I would give them a 20.
I had trouble with the website at the drop off point but the folks at Jakes were really helpful and took care of it for me.
Clean V and safe location. The only thing I was concerned about is that I could not pick up WiFi to check in after hours. I called the next morning to be sure they got it checked in and they were extremely helpful and friendly.

It would be nice to know if you are doing online check in for the equipment that additional info is needed when you get there like a second form of identity like a passport or rental lease so those things could be brought at the time. Instead of surprise you need all this additional info when you get there. We did get the phone verification but my husband didn't take the call bc it was Phoenix number and he didn't know it was uhaul so he didn't answer. I could have given him a heads up to answer. Instead it made a simple online check on take 45 minutes and we were running late the rest of the day.
I'm not sure that the brakes on the unit I rented were actually working.
I made the reservation under The Beekeepers of Indiana because this rental was for a club event. I used the club credit card to pay for it. When I opened the receipt because I had my husband pick up the trailer, they put the customer name under him. This appears that I used the club credit card to rent a trailer for ourselves. This would be a gross misuse of funds. If you can't get a simple receipt correct, I would not recommend anyone else going here.
We appreciated the quick and easy service renting the Uhaul truck. Everyone at Jakes was terrific!!

This was our second location. We arrived at Greenwood South at 6pm for our original pick up and the gps location services would not find the location. We contacted customer service and they walked us through all the location services, and browser clearing, which we had already done. The issue was the map on uhaul.com was showing the location as 300 ft west of the uhaul dealers lot, which was a cornfield. We contacted support again and again were made to feel like it was our error in knowing how to use gps location services. We called again and at this time were in route to a new uhaul dealer in hopes of changing locations. We were directed back to the original location and called back but were given the same step by step on location services. At this point it was 9pm and we had been there 3 hours. We had two phones and had called a friend to try their phone. I was chased out of the cornfield by a local resident wondering why I was walking towards his property. We finally asked or a manager and the manager told us there was nothing he could do but I could talk to customer service so we had him transfer us. Upon transfer Judy was confused why they transferred me because she said 24/7 is who would troubleshoot the call. I continued my patience as I was too tired to deal with the lack of true customer service that was actually just a call center providing iPhone support troubleshooting. The real help would have been a phone verification of sorts. I asked for Judy's boss and again there was nothing that could be done except offer me a new location to pick up. At this point we accepted the new 30 minute drive and additional mileage fees. The manager offered $30 comp and I told her that wouldn't cover it and she seemed to think it would. She told me I would need to go in and speak to the drop off place to get the credit issued. The next day we dropped it off and the place had no clue how to issue the credit, and the credit barely put a dent in the overages for the additional miles and gas used for the added distance. We left the drop off with no real solution to the problems and the longest night of moving ever as 6pm pick up turned into an all night affair. This was the poorest support for a system that's clearly flawed, and the biggest flaw is the pick up locations gps tracking not turning on and off location services as suggested by support.

Melissa was very helpful through out the whole process start to finish. She was instrumental in setting up the reservation and helping plan the overall trip. I was very happy with the whole process

Continue to help customers who encounter problems. When I was late and arrived a few minutes after closing time, Melissa returned to the office and allowed me to rent my Uhaul as originally planned. I was upset at being late and Melissa was sympathetic, professional and supportive. Excellent customer service which will make me a repeat customer in the future. If she had not come back to the office, I would have really been in trouble because I had to give possession of the home I was moving from to the new owners the following day. This evaluation is sent with a Great Big Thankyou!!!
wanted trailer parked in a certain place. There was very little space to maneuver to park it there and only 1 chuck for the wheels. Not exactly a flat spot to park a heavy trailer. It's not my trailer, so it seems U-haul should take more of an interest in getting the trailer secured in a location and providing convenient space in order for a customer to have to park it for them.
While the vehicle was clean and functional, it did have a cracked windshield.The crack began on the left side and extended across the driver's field of vision which I found to be distracting at times.
Really,there isn't any improvement needed-all of the staff at Jake's Body Shop/U-Haul were very friendly ,professional and helpful. I'll certainly patronize them again when needing a U-Haul product.
One of the tires on the trailer was nearly bald. Almost no tread and not suitable for a 2000 mile journey. We had to have it replaced part way through our journey.
Keep equipment clean as I did not pressure wash I returned it the same as I got it
