Customer service was very slow. I arrived prior to my pick up time and waited 30 minutes past when pick up was supposed to happen before anyone even approached me. This was also not the original location I was guaranteed to pick the truck up from, it was further away causing an increase in payment which was not addressed by this service building. Overall not happy and would not recommend!

An error was made in the mileage calculation. I was overcharged 500 miles. When I pointed the error out to the manager, the truck was being rented out to the next customer. We checked the mileage before the next customer left the lot with the truck. However, The manager could not correct my invoice until the truck was returned by the next customer. Its not so much the location but u-haul policy that my refund for the u-haul error could not be made on the spot of discovery.

Their phone system doesn't seem to be in working order. They over charged me for a day and I can't get through on their phone number for either the Uhaul or the Grease Monkey number.

The mileage in truck and what was in the system was off by 1 mile considering we pay for mileage per mile. The gas meter was also of by 1/8th of tank.. Considering we also we get charge for gas on return. Please insure accurate documentation for each return truck to insure the next customer doesn't pay for the last customers use. I was charged an additional 8.95 for a 11 mile in town use when the gauge didn't move for my trip.

The uhaul customer service rep convinced me to upgrade my size truck so that it would be available at my requested location. The day of pick up, my location was changed to over 20 miles away. This was frustrating. I called and placed a complaint and was told a supervisor would speak to me in 3 business days. It has now been 5 business days and I haven't heard anything. I will never use Uhaul again and opt for another company next time.

When I arrived the store informed me that they had rented my trailer out to another customer. They asked me to wait so they can find another trailer for me. After about 20 minutes they called me to the counter to tell me my trailer was still on the property and ready for me.

Where do I start. Rented the truck from a location within 1 mile of my home, only to find out on the morning of my move, there was no truck there. Had to drive an additional 8 miles to another location. There is an extra $25.00 in mileage fees. Got truck and it had 3/16 of a tank of fuel. No worries they will credit me $6 and I need to bring it back with at least 1/4 tank. Not sure where they think you can get 3.5 gallons of fuel for $6, not to mention the first thing we have to do is get fuel since the old truck burned it like crazy. I asked if the truck had an ez pass (remember that short 8 mile trip to the new location, yeah two tolls to get there), was given a dumb look and a sharp "No". They didn't bother coming out and pointing out the dents and scratches when I got the truck, but you better believe they looked it over good when it came back. Overall bad experience with U-Haul. Don't know if it was just this location, but wont try another again.

Very positive experience, two reps. from two different locations made my day and not stressed me out. I dropped off the trailer Grease Monkey without knowing that it was in-manned. So somehow, I called another location nearby and was surprised to learn that the trailer was not there. I spoke to Ben, he arranged for a rep to go over to Grease Monkey to check the trailer in (made my day!) I live in Alexandria. The guy that checked the trailer called me to let me know it's check in and if I wanted him to keep a few moving pads that I had left in the trailer. 5 Stars to these guys!

Yesterday when we went to Grease Monkey to rent a truck we told them we wanted to rent a one way to an address in North Carolina for two drivers both of which presented their drivers licenses. Both of us had North Carolina addresses. When we tried to explain to them where we wanted to turn the truck in we were told just to call "the 800 number". When we turned the truck in today we were told we were supposed to turn the truck in back in North Carolina and were charged an additional fee. It took us almost two hours to rent the truck in the first place because the agent kept making mistakes, making telephone calls, and finally giving us incorrect papers. We plan on contesting the charges tomorrow. There is no way I could ever recommend the Grease Monkey location where we rented the truck. The attendant that served us was completely unqualified to do it in my opinion.

This wasn’t the location I had rented from originally. Due to mess up that was caused by online reservation system, I had to pick up my rental at this location. They should not be penalized for the errors caused by online system. I was aggravated by the time I got there.
