Uhaul suggests checking in on the app, but the app wasn't working so we had to wait in line for ONE employee. When the app finally started working U-Haul suddenly requires an alternate contact person to answer the phone and confirm who you are before you take the truck. At 8:00am. Major issues with this location. Checking in online was impossible. Had to attempt it three times. When succeeded after walking back-and-forth to the truck which was two blocks away, they told me they did not have a key to That particular truck. Had to get a key to a third truck, because the second truck also did not have a key. This franchise needs massive management intervention. Poorly runPaul D.

The service techniican did not attach the trailer to my truck properly and it came off the hitch 5 blocks away. The hitch was 'jammed up' and I had no tools on me. So....No one answered the phone at the location, so I had to wait 1.5 hours to get service from a guy that hammered on the hitch to loosen it up so it could get put back on my truck. I deserve a refund or something. I'm a regular customer.Eric R.

This location always seems to be slow/understaffed. I waited in line for 25 minutes to get my rental. The truck was dirty and there was a lot of mud on the driver side floor of the cab, also some general dirt and dried droplets from minor spills, like it was not cleaned after the previous renter. I was supposed to have a utility dolly and it was not there so we had to come back again to pick it up. The online check in process is long and misleading. I had to answer No to the question about the truck being clean, bc it wasn't, but I didn't actually cause any of the dirt that was in it. So I guess technically, I'm paying someone else's cleaning fee for a past rental.Julia Z.
Incredibly slow customer service, had a reservation for weeks in advance that was not available at the scheduled time when I arrived. I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone after this experience.JOSEPH W.

The truck share program was less convenient than advertised. Why do you not get the alternate contact information in advance? I had to ask the rep through the chat to call twice because his phone never rang the first time. And then I still had to go into the building to pick up the key.Ben H.
Customer service would be a start. The employees didn't really seem like they wanted to help anyone. There was really only one employee that was good the other two that I had to deal with were horrible. I dont know how they even have a job there.Jeremy M.
I was rented a truck with a broken windshield and non-working a/c. I spent a day getting those repaired at two different locations. The manager Anthony and the staff at this location were accommodating and discounted a portion of the fee and added time to the rental contract for the inconvenience. I appreciated their assistance and attention to the situation. My concern is that there seemed to be no mechanism in the system to avoid that happening again to someone else. Shouldn't the attendant delivering the vehicle to the customer notice a broken windshield? Shouldn't that be notated on the equipment file so that it can be remedied prior to the next rental? Yes, it had been notated with one of the stickers, but probably should not have been released in that condition.WILLIAM F.
There was only one employee on site when I arrived at 7 am for pick up. He was working with a customer and had to leave the front desk to assist them. It seemed another person on the premises would have been wise to accommodate multiple rentals. My van was clean inside but not washed on the exterior.Starla R.
I do not know why I ended up picking up at this location, as I placed my order for PU at the KCMO location that was nearer to my home. Then there was some confusion jn my GPS about where the location was which left me at an unmanned lot about a block away. Once I arrived, though, everyone was very helpful--especially Arminta. There were several curveballs, and Arminta skillfully overcame all of them. There was a mechanical problem which needed about an hour to be fixed, but everyone was good about it.Faith H.

I have never been to this location & when I walked in I didn't see anyone in the store. I had to look for an employee who was on their phone hidden behind the counter & didn't even acknowledge me. It would be nice when a customer walks into a place of business you greet them & act like you want to be there to help them. Other than that the equipment worked flawlessly but I had issues with dropping the van off after hours. I had a hard time finding the key drop. I finally found it on one of the gate entrance/exits. It was full of keys & documents like it had not been emptied in a while.Richard T.

With well over 100,000 miles in a rental, it was pretty good. The cab still had some liquid spilled in the cup holder so that was kind of gross. The staff was really terrific to work with.Christopher P.

When we dropped off we did it in an empty lot with other Uhaul trailers. When I tried to call the Metcalf location, it just put me through a loop and I could never speak to a person to be sure that I dropped it off correctly. Made me nervous that I did not do correctly with my phone and that someone could steal the trailer and I get charged.Randall N.
