The trailer had a bunch of wet mud inside when I picked it up (just inside the door). I was hauling a new bedroom set and the mattress and frame got mud all over one end. Other than that everything was great.
Walkers Auto Service always take care of my request. I have used their services several of times.
Overall, I did like renting from my location. It was mostly uneventful. However... If you really have someone inspect the vehicle before renting it out to the next person, please tell me who would approve of leaving a bunch of McDonalds trash and used masks all over the floor. And you KNOW the last people that returned it said â€œit was cleanâ€ just to avoid the $25 cleaning fee. None of my van doors were locked when I got there either. And the left side mirror was all jacked up to the point I couldn't see out of it no matter how many times I adjusted it.
I felt the lady in the office was rude. She acted as though I was a bother the whole time. My phone was not uploading pictures I am not sure if it was the connection there or my phone. Either way I was unable to upload pictures to your website and this was time consuming as I never did get them uploaded. The back of the van was not clean. I was moving a piece of furniture but I did rent blankets so my furniture stayed clean. But I was unable to upload a picture to prove it. I was very disappointed in this location. I hope I don't have a need for this service again.
FairPlay was not my original pickup location. I was scheduled to pick up at R&G Auto near my move location but the truck wouldn't start. I never could get the proprietor on the phone. After a long wait on hold we finally got uhaul and had to arrange a pickup 20 miles away. Things went smoothly from there but that was extra time, extra stress, extra mileage. Frankly I should be discounted - not to mention there was no dolly which I had preordered. I've had a similar experience before. Basically it comes down to the local pickup/drop off - this pickup place was awful. A muddy parking lot with handmade signs, a dead truck, and no one answering the phones.
Staff at this location recommended to call the uhaul company line instead of answering simple questions. They were dismissive and unfriendly. Will rent from another location next time.
The online after hours return was terrible. It would not allow me to take a photo of my mileage and gas level. I hope I didn't get charged the $20 fee because I added the details to the paper form that I put in drop box with the keys.

Equipment and blankets reserved online were not available when I went to pick up the truck.
This company was not prepared beforehand even though we had reserved a month in advance. The clerk had to go out to the lot to figure out which trailer was ours. It took 45 minutes to be processed even with most of the paperwork filled out on line.
The inside of the trailer was not clean. Otherwise, the location was OK. If you're looking for moving supplies, this is not the best location.
The staff were very helpful and kind.
Staff didn't wear mask
The location was closed during the drop of (the middle of the day) but we were able to get the trailer parked. Then had a hard time returning it online bc the gps wasn't working well and you had to use that for the return.
Have the trucks checked out more maintenance wise
I would have preferred if your employee wore a mask during our interaction. Other than that, great service!
The old lady who checked me in lacks customer service skills. She is very rude! Very argumentative! When I walked in I was on the phone and I told her I couldn't hang up because it's an important call. But I also told her I was on hold and if she wanted to talk she could to give her some options. So she said let's proceed with getting the rental. So I did! She asked for a picture of my license so I put the phone on speak and proceeded to take a picture with my phone and to send it over. Well the lady on the phone came back on the phone and I said to the her on the phone â€œhold on, I will be right with you. Well your representative said â€œI DON'T WANT TO HERE THAT ON THE PHONE!â€ So I explained to her again that why I told you I was on the phone in the mean time my license and everything she needed was alrighty in her computer. Instead of her saying thank you, she proceeded to argue about it. I explained to her in the beginning what was going on and she didn't have a problem with it. She need to make up her mind! Either it okay to be on the phone or not! When I returned, there was her and another lady who returned the van. The other lady was awesome! Very polite and nice! She should be the first line of contact for your company!
The ladies that helpped me were kind and straight forward. I was very pleased that they were honest and helpful.
Returned Auto Transport 15 minutes after rental and still got charged. Area manager said that I'd get a refund but I still have not. The 26 ft Uhaul was in bad need of a wheel alignment and was constantly bouncing and vibrating. A 1/3 of my items were damaged in transit!!! I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again!
My only complaint is that the trailer i rented was very heavy and did not have a trailer jack on the tongue to assist with hooking and unhooking. I had to lift the tongue off the ground to attach to trailer hitch And, had there not been another customer in the lot to assist, I would not have been able to manage hooking and unhooking the trailer from my vehicle. Thankfully, I did not need to unhook it while it was loaded, I would have been unable to physically lift it off of the trailer hitch even with assistance while loaded.
make sure that the vehicle works properly; as in cranking up properly on its on & not having any issues.
Not lie to your customers and then charge the card they have on file for the customer 2 days before you have to bring it back.
Everything worked out great and the Walker's were very nice!
