I understand it was winter and not everything can be perfectly clean. Mats will be dirty but cargo bed should be blown or swept out. There was a fair amount of debris left behind. The pick up app needs to be compatible with more browsers and I had a difficult time getting the keys because it would not connect by Samsung browser before switching to Chrome.Xavier T.

U haul called 24h prior to pick up to let me know that I had to pick up at a new location that was 30min away when there is 5 locations within a 10min radius of the original location. Compensation for extra 30km was ridiculous as that just covered the distance I had to go extra. Truck was reserved several weeks prior to pick up. Clear sign of lack of organization. The only thing would be to have the customers telephone number handy so you can call them to remind them to return the rented vehicle on time for the next customer.Joseph R.
I felt the entire check out and return process was excellent. I felt it ensured safety for everyone involved and you did an excellent job! The truck I rented was clean and very new. Staff was unfamiliar with hook up, had to call a colleague and was too busy running her variety store to assist. Very poor customer service. That said, I originally ordered from the Newmarket Ontario U-haul but was notified the day before my rental that the unit I ordered was not available and that I would have to go to the Stouffville location. Still not the trailer I had ordered. I to completely change my packing as this was too big for my needs. It leaked and damaged a lot of the contents. Very unhappy with my experience. I ordered a month in advance and was only told the day prior about a different location and trailer.Jim S.
I had a pleasant experience overall and the store owner was very nice and accommodating. However, "Wendy's One Stop Shop" is not the name of the location where the vehicle was located and caused some confusion for me. Additionally, the fuel gauge was practically on empty when the vehicle was received. This caused a bit of stress since I had to worry about filling up gas before AND after my move. Lastly, the uHaul app did not work well for me and I had to resort to the mobile website.Romeko L.
They werent very responsive... we replaced gas and our return that was done almost 24 hours after our return says that the gas was very low... we have used Uhaul on multiple occasions and this was by far the worst... unfortunateJacob I.
We drove 43 km in total, and we filled the gas tank before we returning the vehicle, then uhaul charged me again for fuel, so in total we supposedly used 17 liters of gas within 2 hours, driving 43 total km. So that would mean the van got 2.5 km per liter of fuel. I don't mind paying for what I used, I feel cheated and am done with uhaul. It's a matter of principle and loosing a customer over 7-8 dollars of fuel, I wish you well. Good ByeBernard H.
My truck reserved three weeks prior at location nearby was suddenly not available the night before my move. Had to travel 40kms out of my way to retrieve another truck to be told cash only and $110 higher than my original quote due to distance which was uhaul error. Wendy was lovely but rep Michael was not useful and impolite. Expecting a $50 credit for $123 bill which helps but in my opinion rental fee should have been waived as well as extra mileage as this was Uhaul error and took close to two hours away from my moving time adding to an already busy stressful time.
