Your system works great, but please note that your check out system on the app requires me to take lots of photos, to the point that I got stopped and questioned by a police officer for suspicious activity 😂 Would rent a U-Haul again, preferably with a smaller dose of law enforcement next time

ULVI BExtremely frustrating process this time around. A customer decided on Friday to keep their large truck through the weekend, which screwed up everyone else's reservation. What I would 100% say happened here is this customer always intended to keep the truck longer, but wasn't able to book it because they were already all reserved, with it being end of month. So they booked it for the one day that they could, and then chose to keep it anyways. U-Haul should implement a policy that you are not allowed to keep trucks past your reservation time without specific approval by the location, since they know what their upcoming needs are. As it is, the only penalty is paying for an additional day rental. Penalties should either be: 1) Truck is immediately reported stolen and get the police involved 2) Additional rental fees of $500 per day plus any mileage and insurance fees While it wasn't the location's fault, it caused a great deal of unecessary stress for them as well as me, as I had to have my truck first thing in the morning.
Dan JThere are two reasons that I rated average: First: I got charged for fuel despite that I refueled. Second: The parking lot wasn't shoveled at all, so I had a headache to park it when I got back. I stucked two times in the snow and it took me an hour to park the van.
