No masks were worn by staff. The place is small and it felt like a health hazard. Also, I hired a man to help me pack and drive this Uhaul. He owed a balance from a previous thing. I had to pay a stranger's bill to rent a truck for my move because I listed them as an additional driver. No, he could not be removed, no it didn't matter that he is a hired stranger, no Uhaul does not alert you to this when you reserve the service..they deliberately wait until you are picking up. Staff was pleasant and attentive.

I was forced to rent an enclosed trailer because you didn't provide any near me. I would have had to drive over an hour away to the open unit, plus you charged me more than the unit I wanted. I will try other next time...like Jone depot

South Venice Auto was terrific with my needs, it was u hauls website that goofed everything up. I booked a trailer thru the website to a location close to me. Was told to go to a different location because my location did not have the equipment I required. When I went to pick it up at the location they sent me to they did not have the equipment and I needed to go to a third location to pick it up. Needless to say at that point I was pissed and come to find out the third location was already closed for the day. A phone call was made and surprisingly the gentleman answered and agreed to wait for me. ( South Venice Auto) As far as the equipment itself it was in great condition and performed perfectly for my move.

The truck had an infestation of Florida fire ants which I am allergic to and get huge blisters if stung. Didnt realize there were more than a few until after loading the truck and opening it the next day to see ants crawling all over all the stuff inside. Also when tow dolly was connected there was no added information or tips given to a first time user so I had multiple issues with it during my move.

The clerk was friendly and helpful. I did have to wait until 9 am, about an half hour, for the uhaul computer to come on. The first hour and the last hour was for the auto repair customers I was told. But there was no customers in the office at the time. Seems like the clerk should have access the the computer when they open.

This was not the original, intended drop-off location. The original location on S. Tamiami trail turned us away when I tried to drop the vehicle off and asked me to drop it off at an alternate location. I bothered me that UHaul was asking me to do their work and invest my time to help them out with their own logistical issues.
