I thought I was going to get a month free storage but it wasn't mentioned. The computer system was causing the clerk issues. Also put a sign up that the doors to the loading bays to the storage do not stay open on their own.Meagan B.

you need to have the fuel tank full of gas and not create an illusion for the customer and cost the customer far in excess of reasonableness. Next, while you have lineups to the sole gal at the front, the client needs to be treated with understanding when he questions the gas consumption, not just a glib response, but perhaps a response to the effect you look into later today or tomorrow. i drove the vehicle about 42km or 25 miles. When i filled with gas prior to returning the vehicle, about 3 hours after taking it out, the fill was 23 liters or based on 4.5 liters to a Canadian gallon, equates to 5 gallons. As well, my speed did not exceed 50 MPH. The end result the gas fill was $33.30 to drive 25 miles or 40 Km - about 2miles per gallon or .575 Km to the to the liter. You can figure it out and tell if i should be happy - Never has a U-Haul place given me a glib answer to any question in the past, but your operation took care that record.Ronald B.

My experience was generally positive. The location, equipment and customer service was all good. I had a misunderstanding about the estimated total cost, but it was sorted out satisfactorily. It was me not understanding the estimate properly and thinking that something was included which was not. I think a better or more complete explanation of the estimate probably would have helped. The online estimate and the one given by the agent at the time of pickup used a different distance allowance. I had assumed they were the same.Eric T.

I have done quite a bit of business with uhaul, this location in particular. The staff is great, my issue is with uhaul and their "policy". I had rented a storage unit long term and paid in full. Circumstances changed and I was able to move, therefore, I was able to check out a few months before my last paid month. I rented a moving van, moved and then checked out of my storage unit. I had checked out with nearly 3months left that I was paid up to. They refunded my last 2months and said even though I was only 4 days into the third month, they don't pro rate and therefore there is no reimbursement for that month. It was a $200/month storage unit, do the math on 4 days out of the month and the remainder is not a small sum. I had just rented a truck from them - one of many, I might add - I had rented a storage unit for the better part of a year - also one of many. In addition I had previously had a hitch installed on my vehicle. Needless to say they have been on the receiving end of my business. However, upon contacting them on their 1-800 NUMBER, and presenting this scenario, all I received was "those are the rules, sir". Sadly, through no fault of their own, I have to give this location a poor review. Congratulations uhaul, you got my money. You also got a poor review and I will avoid doing any further business with you in the future. Kind Regards!Ryan V.
