Our Uhaul experience was fine until the truck broke down on the way back to the house we were moving out of to get a second load. After communicating with the Uhaul call center, my boyfriend waited on the side of the road for 2 hours in the middle of nowhere. A tech finally arrived and scanned the check engine lights and fixed the issue. We weren't able to pick up the second load of furniture because it was getting late and the people helping us had to go home. The employee at Uhaul who checked us out was nice but the manager was very obviously apathetic and didn't care in the least about our bad experience. On an extremely stressful day, this was not pleasant.
Parking and drive up area was a little crowded. Inside the building was excellent; clean, spacious. Social distancing was accomplished. The passenger seatbelt in the truck needed attention. The buckle was under the seat and was difficult to route up through the seat. Should have been checked before renting. Truck performed well, as expected. Over all rating, above average.
The first truck sounded like the drive shaft was falling out of it and had to exchange for another truck.
They were top-notch. Very efficient.
Charge to much should be a set price.

The truck smelt horribly of cigarettes and weed. The LEAST you could do is let it air out.
Samantha was the most disrespectful, nasty and smart ass person I have ever met . By the time I left I was in tears. Albert tried to help me but agreed she had horrible customer service .
Truck I picked had 2 dents in it. There was no one to check out the truck with me. They should have been pointed out on the pictures. Being that I picked up first thing in the morning and was still dark, these could have been missed. You should really have someone to help go over the trucks when they are checking out. Overall a good experience
There was one person working that morning. I understand it was New Year's Day, however a lot of people move at the beginning of a month. It is not his fault things were backed up, as they should have been staffed better. It put us quite behind on time, but we kept our hopes up as we have always had good experiences with U-Haul. Our U-Haul truck (DC 6748 W) leaked water all over our things. Boxes that were on the floor were soaked. It was not raining when we loaded up and nothing spilled. It rained on our way to our new house. Even my mattress that was covered has water damage. Boxes on top had some water on them but not too much. Disappointed that this happened.

I had a 8am pick reservation. It took 55mins before I was helped. With only 3 customers ahead of me. Only one guy on so can't really blame him however, the moving guys and helpers and plans had to be pushed back for an hour which when paying movers is costly. I'm not overly impressed. I've been there before had much better experiences. Just disappointed, I also did not request items like 2 extra furniture dollys, which I paid for however after spending an hour I was not gonna chance waiting longer. I did not receive an email with final price which should be less. Returning was a very easy process they did great with that. That guy helped fast and super friendly. I only wish I knew his name. But thanks guy. So just pick up was honestly a very unhappy and frustrating experience. I feel bad for the only worker there he said someone was a no show so I'm sure it would have been a much better experience.
Employees were not wearing masks during pandemic and I signed up for contactless pick-up, but the keys were not in the key box and so I had to go inside and wait in line for 20 minutes.

I had to jump through hoops to make sure there was a trialer there. Then the guy helping me slip on ice hooking it up then I had to wait for someone else to help me. ðŸ˜¤
Your customer service line had long delays. On the road, my hitch broke and I was unable to contact anyone at U-Haul for over an hour.
It was perfect
Truck felt like the front axel was loose. I had to go into the shop to find an employee to fill my reservation. I encountered three employees none of whom had a face mask. I find this a blatant disregard for customer safety
EXCELLENT WAY OF DOING BUSINESS, THOSE business away from nyc, look another part of the wold.
Please make sure you read the Purchase Order and ensure that all accessories that customers request and pay for, are included on the truck during pickup. I specifically called ahead of time to ensure that both dollys would be present on the truck. I spoke with a representative at the location who confirmed that they would be. And yet, you still failed. It was on the order, AND I called (something I should not have to do), and you still failed. Moving is stressful enough without basic administrative errors on your end making it worse.
I rented a truck this past weekend and the truck was dirty. The equipment had several previous customer contract paperwork laying in the door and the glove compartment. I encourage the new GM to get to cleaning the truck, instead of just parking them Sunday morning like he did. I had to watch him do it because my 24/7 equipment wasn't set up correctly. I am hoping it will get better by the next time i need a rental BP.
