***WARNING*** Take a photo of your gas gauge BEFORE and AFTER your return and the CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!!! When we picked up the UHaul, the fuel was just over a 1/4 of a tank. When we returned it, the fuel was just over a 1/4 of a tank. We drove 53 miles total, put in 7.58 gallons of gas before we returned it. That averages out to 6.99 miles to the gallon. THEN the truck was checked in by the staff and he indicated exactly 1/4 of a tank and charged us an extra 2 gallons = $8.92 in fuel. Luckily we had photos and were able to PROVE we returned it better than when we picked it up. The money was refunded by UHaul immediately. Without the pictures, they would have scammed us out of $8.92. If they do this to every client, they are making BANK by skimming directly from the customers hoping it goes unnoticed. (And the representative from Diamond storage DID CONFIRM THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME!!!!!) You have been warned. Cover yourself and don't get scammed.
