I called U-Haul to get assistance with my online check-in. The customer service representative proceeded to tell me that there were no units available and that’s why when I try to check in online its asking me to pay instead of giving me one month free. That made no sense because I previously spoke to the 800 customer service representative who told me that they reserved a unit for me. I called back with customer service on the phone and called the local Wake Forest location. That’s when the customer service representative that initially answered the phone to another coworker who assisted me and checking in. So it’s a parent that the first worker didn’t want to do their job. In addition, I was told by the coworker that all I needed to do was enter my passcode on the keypad and the sliding doors will open. Apparently that is not the case. It only open the small door. And I had to bring my furniture in that way. Overall, I’ve had very poor customer service with you all. I’ve called several times to schedule my self storage and customer service had scheduled it several times and turned around and told me all that would not give you the one month free even though I asked about it initially. I was literally on the phone with them for hours.
Ophelia k | First ImpressionsStop telling customers the gas is on a certain spot but mark off a different spot than they said on the contract. NEVER had an issue with uhaul in 10+ years until I came to the WAKE FOREST location. Last year you hit my card claiming gas charges and just did it again this weekend when I filled it EXACTLY where I was told only to find out the girl marked it off higher than she told me in the contract. This is the second year in a row THIS LOCATION ONLY has done this. I have NEVER had this happened with the Garner locations & I WOULD NEVER REFER ANYONE ELSE TO UHAUL TO USE YOUR SERVICES EVER AGAIN!!! Your employers are Scammers.

Heather L | Online Move InChristine has arguably the worst attitude I have ever encountered in a customer service position. She was rude, snotty, brash, and demeaning. I have never felt so put out and belittled by an employee as I’m trying to make a simple transaction. She obviously has the knowledge to do the job which is why I assume she still works there, but is far outshadowed with her disgusting attitude. I even asked one of her coworkers “does she always have that type of attitude?” She told me “yes”. I followed up with “has she ever been called out like that before” and she answered “yes”. This is obviously repeat behavior. Jaime was great as she stepped in when I demanded to not work with Christine anymore for this transaction, as would be expected from the GM/Owner. The young lady that originally helped me was great also. All in all it was a terrible experience, took 1.25hrs to rent a truck, look at a unit and rent said unit. The ONLY reason I didn’t walk out and just leave was the fact I had already paid for the truck, too much time had passed and the convenience of the location. Would I recommend this location- NO. Everyone in there was pleasant and helpful except Christine. I’m still reeling by the way she treated me and I watch her do the same to another customer. Rude, short, demeaning, ugly and you could see the older lady that Christine was ‘helping’ felt small and unworthy as she left. It was infuriating to experience this and feel so unwelcome. Maybe she was having an off day, but when her fellow colleagues identify and agree that she has a terrible attitude - I believe that’s all the proof you need.
JAMES F | First ImpressionsIt is incredibly over priced for a storage facility. My rates kept going up, and up, and up. I rented one of the largest storage units for half the price, of the small one I moved into later. Tell me how the small ones is double the price of the large one. Definitely not a storage unit I'll be using or recommending to anyone.
