I have always had a good experience at this location. This time it was the worst experience. The manager on duty was rude to start with, not paying attention to only customer (me) in the line. While I was driving the truck, I noticed the passenger side mirror was loose and not staying in adjusted position. I brought the truck back and notified the lady manager about the issue with the mirror, she checked it and took it out and threw it on the passenger seat. I explained the issue to her and her sarcastic reply was "yeah, yeah, I have heard it before"....I will never recommend or rent from this location ever. On top of all this I noticed, I was charged for fuel ($8.xx) plus the $30 service fees whereas I returned the truck with over the required fuel level. I will call the corporate office to get these extra charges revert. I AM NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER.JAMSHED K.
Something about the manager. She was not ours right rude but definitely not welcoming by any stretch of imagination. If I had more choices and time, my few hard earned money would not go to that location.Hyun K.

I rented a truck this morning (6/12) and had a great experience with the staff. Upon dropping off, the location was totally slammed. There was a family there, new to the country, and the staff person (I neglected to get their name) handled the transaction and anxiety very well. I have to say -- I was particularly rude, and I shouldn't have been. I was impatient and dismissive when the employee on the clock was trying their best to help me AT THE SAME TIME they were assisting this family who I'm sure we're not easy to deal with. Even with me being rude and basically walking away when the employee was trying to ask me questions... They still wished me a good day. So first -- I'm sorry for adding stress to an already stressful situation. Second -- I'm grateful the staff was trying to help me, even with how busy they were, and third -- I'm impressed by this particular person's ability to keep their cool with the amount of stress they were under. Pick up Thurs 6/3 went fine. The vehicle was fine. Drop off on Sat 6/5 was not fine - the manager behind the counter was very rude and dismissive - she was almost intimidating in the way she just shut me down regarding concerns I had on pricing. I'm not one to complain but I can't recall having such a poor customer service experience anywhere is a long time.MICHAEL K.
I believe I was racially profiled. I was disrespected and treated differently from other customers whom were of a different race. I received no explanation on why I was being disrespected or treated different. I'll be making a full detailed complaint against the manager on duty.HAIS W.

Emily, your employee who served me, was WONDERFUL! She was incredibly helpful and I am grateful for her service. One thing that would be helpful for THIS location: could you make the total height of the vehicles more obvious? (Not just internal height). It's incredibly important when driving on certain roads like Storrow, or entering parking decks like the one at Whole Foods Symphony. I just had to make a guess. ThanksAnne F.
Confusion at drop off. I was charged a late day despite having dropped off a day early. The attendant assured me that I was good to go. He unhooked the trailer, looked up my contract on his device, and said I was all set. A day later approaching the original return deadline, the location manager phoned me to ask where the trailer is. I explained that it had been dropped off a day early and checked in. Shame on me for not insisting on some receipt or paperwork at that time, but the attendant repeatedly told me that that would get emailed to me. A day later, I received a charge for a day late on the trailer return. It took me upwards of 1.5 hours on the phone to get that charge reversed. UHaul seems to be understaffed and have glitchy tracking of returns and payments made. Not the first time I've experienced problems. U-Haul needs competition to drive improved customer experience. Their relative monopoly on rentals is unhealthy.Thaxter S.

Facility was crowded with trucks. We dropped the truck off after hours and took the last spot available for a return. The online return using the app was convenient for after hours, but the process for both check-in and return on-line takes a lot of time.Robert D.

For novice renters, website rental of vehicles was very intuitive, and the suggestion of optional equipment, such as dollies and moving blankets was a plus. I also easily added an authorized driver. The online link to change the primary driver does not work (I was listed as the primary driver and wanted to make the secondary authorized driver the primary.) I also ordered a dolly and a dozen moving pads/blankets, which was the minimum quantity and both were in the van when we picked it up. Pads/blankets are prepackaged in plastic. We did not know, nor was it marked on the package, that each package contained 6 pads/blankets, so we were short a half dozen when we arrived at our move site. The vehicle was returned early, and the authorized driver inquired about, and then received a refund for, the missing pads/blankets. A family member followed the Uhaul van in our personal vehicle so that the authorized driver could get home. The family member was accosted by an employee who wanted to know what he was doing there. I suggest having signage indicating who can park where. Overall good experience, very convenient location, ample equipment and newfound knowledge that they ALSO sell moving and packing supplies for practically any shape, size and fragility of personal belongings.Lisa C.

I was charged for gas after i specifically stopped to add gas before I returned it.JOHN G.
Prior to returning the van that I rented today, I put gas in the tank to the level that was above that which I received the van at. My invoice was charged for 2 gallons of gas, which would certainly have brought the gas level even further above the required level. This added fee was neither consistent with UHaul's stated policies nor with the service that I have usually received at this location over the previous 2 decades that I have a customer. Adding this fuel surcharge, without merit, after I had left the returned van with the correct replacement of fuel, is a deceptive, unwarranted, and ugly business practice.PETER C.

Have customers come and check their hardware before the actual date of rental--a different U-Haul location in Allston MA had mis-installed our wiring harness and so the brake lights did not work! It took us 3 hours to figure it out and the Brookline location was very helpful in getting it set up properly and safely. A visit to the u-haul ahead of time to QC the harness would have saved us lots of anguish on the date of service. Just to be clear this was NOT the fault at all of the Brookline location, they went above and beyond the call of duty.Alexander S.
