The only suggestion I have is: Stop making it difficult for people to reserve your service by "digitally demanding digital proof/ pictures " instead of just typing in drivers licenses and such. Not everyone know's how, nor has the capabilities that today's techno-world demands.

How can we get in touch with the garage. My husband left his wedding ring in the cup holder. We would be able to get it today before someone else rents the truck.
I was a little shocked about being charged twice for going over the 6 hour time. It's been a while since I had rented one and don't remember a limit like that. Wish it would have been a little more prominent. When I read about the six hours while booking, I thought it was more of a suggestion. Last time I rented...about 10 years ago, I got charged an additional $50 as well. Besides that, it was a great experience.
When we received the call a day before to confirm our reservation it ended up being at a completely different location and 9 hours after our time preferred. When we tried to figure out how to get another U-haul for morning, the customer service representative said that there was absolutely nothing we could do and that we wouldn't have a U-haul. Luckily, we called again to talk to someone else and that worker took time to help us find something else. Terrible attitude from the first worker. It was extremely stressful.
The process to reserve the truck was difficult. I waited an additional 45 minutes or so to obtain the truck while already on location. I didn't feel, nor do I recall from my experience in general, that there was any forewarning of this and it caused a significant delay in my timing causing great distress to my situation.
Truck was very dirty both inside and out. The employee, Joel, was very courteous, but the U-Haul employee was not there . Took an hour plus to get the vehicle and he did not know how to rent us a dolly or blankets. No walk through or check out before we took off. Vehicle itself ran well and did the job. I would rate Joel himself very high. In their defense U-haul websites were not working very well and my own attempts to confirm the reservation over the phone were met with long wait times without anyone ever picking up the phone.
I had want to pick up in Crystal lake but you changed it to a 40min drive away.
Uhaul needs to to align with MB Garage on the actual hours of operation so Uhaul.com provides accurate information. When I reserved the truck, Uhaul.com indicated that the location closed at 6P and that I could pick-up the truck as late at 5:45, which is what I selected. When I arrived to pick-up the truck, the attendant told me that they closed at 5 for pick-ups but would take care of it for me anyway.

My phone died so we couldn't get to the information to return the truck. We tried going to the people at ther place and they didnt want to help us and said they were closed. How were we supposed to return the truck then? A guy finally came out to help us, told us we didnt refill the gas tank. So we went and got gas, by then my phone had enough charge to use the app.
Rental Pick up Location was closed on Saturday and Sunday - the days of my rental so there was no local help, I had to call the 800 number to help out the because the app process was slow. It took about 30 minutes to check out the truck. The app & web page would not work to check in the vehicle, I had to call the 800 number, which took more time It took about 1 hour of my time to check in and out the vehicle - way too long.
Equipment....the mirrors do not adjust enough......

Didn't get a receipt. You should be asking about the whole process, not just the pick up and drop off sites. I was satisfied with the people and trailer once we pinned down where we were supposed to pick it up. The UHaul process isn't that great. I thought I had a trailer reserved close to Conover, WI for a specific date. I called a month ahead to reserve it. We ended up having to go way out of our way to pick it up. When I complained on the phone, I was told your policy was that you'd guarantee me a trailer, but couldn't guarantee how far I'd have to drive to pick it up. Not acceptable. Will never rent a uhaul again. I'd buy a trailer before renting from uhaul in the future.
The UHaul desk was not easy to find. Manny was friendly enough but DID NOT walk out with us to help us find the vehicle or give any instruction. We were not aware until we arrived at our location that there was a small leak in the roof. This leak issue was written on the back of or ticket but WAS NOT pointed out to us. Luckily there was no damage, only wet blankets. Also, less than 24 hours before our scheduled pick up time we were told we would have to go to this Huntley location NOT our "preferred spot" (fine print) in our home town. We had to drive 45 minutes to pick up the truck. Appreciate the extra day & 50 miles but think this is poor customer service. Why couldn't the truck have been brought to our preferred location? We had to concede as there was not time to make changes with the movers.
Was told our "U-Haul guy isn't in today, we'll try to figure it out". Tried to find me a car hauler when I reserved a 6' x 12' closed trailer.
First off I reserved the truck near where I live in Rockford way before time then Uhaul cancelled that and made me drive an hour out of my way to Huntley to get the truck. I called the new pickup location the day before and spoke to the owner. He said he would be open at 9:30am and would have my dollies ready to go. MB Garage where we were picking up the truck was not open as promised. I spoke to his next door neighbor and he said MB Garage is NEVER open on the weekends. So I was lied to. I even told him that Uhaul called me and said I could pick up the truck at 9am. And he strictly said I could not pick it up until 9:30am when he opens. He had no intention of opening on Saturday, so why did he insist on 9:30am when he knew I would have to use the self serve option. Then on Saturday after waiting for him to arrive, we had to spend almost an hour using the self service option on the phone. Then we found out he did not put the pads, or both dollies in the truck as he promised. We had to get those from another Uhaul location and it wasted another hour or so. After waiting for a while for MB to open, I called the Uhaul 1-800 number. That was another joke. The first guy had to transfer me. Then the 2nd guy just sent me a text with video and got me off the phone. All the video said basically was to log in to my Uhaul.com account. The first and 2nd guy could have just told me that. What ever happened to normal communication? Once logged in to my Uhaul.com account, the steps were pretty easy and the video was not needed and redundant. What a time waster that all was on top of the other wasted time.
Uhaul sent us to 2 separate locations for drop off. We did not need the responsiblity of unhitching the trailor. Uhaul area supervisor said they would NOT charge for additional days after relocating. Charged us the extra days, and tried making up with a $25 credit that barely covered the gas back and forth.
