Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisI arrived shortly before closing and the process was pushed to get me out (probably an indication the owner doesn't value or take care of their employee). The dolly either was missing or lost the tail light in the 1.8 miles I drove to my son's house. Then I had to find a way to get it fixed and luckily the large storage location in Clearfield/Roy Utah was awesome. They took care of me immediately and fixed it so I could get going but it still cost me over an hour to make this happen. Additionally, when I booked this the price was one cost but when I picked up the price was higher. When I asked why I was just told, that he wished they wouldn't do that because it changes based on where you drop. No kidding but nothing changed (I did figure out it was for insurance which i was not asked if I wanted it or not). Not impressed.
greg hThe truck bed was unswept and there was no lock provided for the truck rear door, and blankets were missing. The numbers on the lockbox were so rubbed off it was impossible to see which number it was in the combination.
jenny rYou moved my pick up location and caused major changes in my picking up the truck. Even though I reserved the truck weeks in advance. Then you changed my drop off location. I am letting all of my friends know what you did to me.
richard bWhen I arrived the manager to leave the office so he could “Cuss some people out!” When he came back to help me return the truck and trailer I asked if everything was okay and he replied, “Where the fuck am I supposed to put this? They keep sending big equipment and we don’t have room for them here!” I apologized and he said it wasn’t my fault and not to worry about it. While he disconnected the trailer I complimented his new tattoo and he said thanks. I showed him some damage to the side of the truck that I had photographed when I picked it up and he said he would report it, then I handed him the keys and he started to walk away. I asked if there was anything else and he said, “No, you’re done here,” over his shoulder as he continued to walk away. I told my wife I guess he’s having a bad day. I believed I’d returned the vehicle with a little more fuel than when I picked it up, but when i reviewed my receipt I found I had been charged $18.00 for three additional gallons of gas. I like Uhaul as a company, but will not return to this location when we move again, and would certainly not recommend it to any of my family or friends.
