JESMINE S | Premières impressionsGiving a below average concerning the Storage comes because of the hard access to the Upstairs unit. It is a long trek down two hallways, and a set of stairs which are no good for my recent diagnosis of feet problems that causes me to loose extremely off balance when I walk- even on level ground. Unit 227 is located at the very end of another long hallway. The unit is way too small for what is needed. I understand that availability is a factor. The young lady, Yvonne who made the initial reservation from the 1-800 dispatch said I could consider checking into another Uhaul subsidiary in the same city, to see if a larger (ground floor- hopefully), is available. I will ask David if this will be feasible, on Monday. The guys at the Broad Street store are SUPER Accommodating, and are patient and friendly displaying a True desire to please every customer. I witnessed this from not only my interaction with every staff member, but noticing them treat everyone with respect and rapid assistance. While I waited for my turn to be served, I noticed the genuine professional and kind service each staff member gave everyone whom they served. Quite impressive, especially when those times were in the early early morning of opening the shop. [redacted] Wm. Byl

Deborah S | Expérience généraleI’ve had my storage unit for 3-4 years while my daughter attended school at UTC. When I came to clear the unit April 6th. One of the stores locks were on the unit because my daughter had been having difficulty with her lock. She was given a lock with a lock code assigned. My daughter was not with us, however the unit was in my name. When I approached the associate to get assistance. His only response was she didn’t give you the code. He didn’t ask my name, ID or anything. We figured out the code. After clearing the unit. I approached the desk. He asked if I was clearing I said yes. He asked my last name and then said it has been closed and I sent an email. He didn’t go look at the unit. He didn’t explain anything. So at that time I said I just paid yesterday for the month. He then breathed hard and said I just came out the account. He then went back in my account and said you should have said that first. I could have saved you money. He then said I’m unable to pro-rate now. It’s not about the money, but the customer service. I utilized your business for 4 years. You’ve received every payment and for the employee to act as if I was a nuisance was astonishing. Never again in life will I use uhaul. Which is crazy because I would have utilized another 4 years for my other daughter that will be attending this Fall.
