Under the terms of my reservation, I was contracted for a 10' x 10' storage unit. Instead, I was assigned a 5' x 5' unit and ultimately had to rent a second 5' x 5' unit to accommodate my belongings. When I contacted customer service at the facility, I was informed that this is simply how U-Haul handles these situations. A confirmed reservation should be honored, and customers should not be inconvenienced or forced to secure multiple units because the reserved unit was unavailable. This experience fell well below my expectations.

This was not my first time completing business with U-Haul and I've had a Unit for approx 3-5 years. This visit was simply updating payment information on an expired credit card on file, and things went exceptionally smooth with the updating and maintaining my current Unit.
